We are off to Corfu, the hotel has wifi so I’ll be keeping in touch with all the news about Notts and popping on here as well, something groundbreaking usually happens when I’m on holiday, like a Notts take over or stella signing etc., so I need to be in the loop. ????

I’ve decided to abstain from alcohol for a while, I need to lose some weight before my holiday next month when I know I will pile lots more weight on eating good food and drinking. So for the next few weeks it’s no alcohol, smaller meal portions and more salads, at the moment I am 13 stone 2 lbs I want to drop to at least 12 stone 7 lbs, lower if I can. Wish me luck I’ll let you know how I get on.

I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) that we can now have seven players on the bench next season which will be a lot better because we’ll be able to have a goalkeeper on the bench, I’m always really nervous when Slocombe gets injured although schmichael Doyle did ok didn’t he? ????

@KingWilliams Matty Palmer and John Bostock are under contract so hopefully neither are going anywhere and won’t need replacing.

Morning all, it’s a cloudy start to the day but at least it’s not raining or particularly cold. Hopefully the sun will be out later. I’ve noticed the forum doesn’t get going until around tea time sometimes and then explodes into life in the evening. I guess I’m lucky in that I am retired so can laze about in bed with a coffee first thing whereas most of you are probably getting up for work, school or college or just having a lie in. What’s everyone’s plans today? Or if you’re reading this late what have you been up to? I am going shopping with Mrs Fan of Big Tone, it’s our sons birthday soon and we want to pop out to get him a few bits. Then we’ll probably spend some time in the garden toning our tans if the sun comes out, in this country you have to make the most of any good weather. ???? Have a great day whatever you’re up to.

I’ve only just had chance to watch this video, it really does show the whole day and the weekend brilliantly from a fans perspective, the nervousness at the start and during the game, then the elation of winning and lastly the emotional scenes celebrating with the staff and players. Well done @ARLukomski it was great reliving it all with you in your video.

As I don’t like travelling to away matches, I managed to watch Notts away matches in the National league by using either BT Sport or the National League TV streams, obviously that won’t be available next season in the EFL so I wondered if there was an equivalent service, does anyone know?

To be honest I think a lot of their fans were/are happy that we are back in the league. I’ve not found many of their fans antagonistic towards us, might be different if we were nearer in the league.

I see they have managed to escape relegation from the Premiership, I was rather hoping they would go down, I’m not sure why I feel that way, jealousy probably. I do however applaud the way they kept faith with the manager and didn’t panic when things looked bad, I feel the fans played a big part of that decision, there is a lesson to be learnt by other clubs. How do others feel about our neighbours? Pleased for them? Hate them with a passion? Indifferent?

@AmericanPie I know you said you weren’t after sympathy but I’m really sorry to hear of your health issues, I do hope the heart monitor helps to settle your heart down, my wife had a funny turn whilst we were away, we spent 36 hours in Kings Lynn hospital A&E department, she needs a monitor fitted to check her heart, that was around 6 weeks ago, she’s still waiting, I’m afraid the NHS is not as good as you may remember. Take it easy my friend.
