It’s very sad, looking at the pictures it looks like a war zone with houses burnt to the ground, it looks like they are all built from wood or at least combustible material, don’t they have brick built buildings over there? If that happened in a big city here at least the shell of the buildings would be intact.

Let’s hope the rhetoric is a lot worse than his actual actions when in power. He certainly says some weird things apparently he’s going to change the name of The Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

Sadly it’s a results based business, I don’t really feel sad for managers who get sacked especially in the top leagues, they get a big payout and normally walk straight into another job, Sean Dyche certainly will.

Well presumably Trump knew that when he refused to rule out the use of force so it seems he’s willing to break the treaty.

He’s even said he doesn’t rule out taking it by force. The U.S. have a base on Greenland with a substantial force there so they could probably easily do it. Its absolutely crazy but then I believe Trump and his buddy Musk are crazy.

Morning @Robbie, morning everyone, it’s -3.7 here this morning, I reckon there’s every likelihood the game will be called off, the temperature isn’t set to improve until next week.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t called off, the weather forecast is for frost right up to Saturday then getting warmer next week, too late.

Am I right in saying this is another early kick off? If so it’ll be on Sky Soorts+ which is a bonus for me but I know it makes it hard for travelling fans. I’m hoping for another win and hopefully get back in the top 3.

We went out to the vet to get some medicine for the cat it’s only up the road and we were planning going further but the pavements were really icy so we doubled back to stay in the rest of the day. The white frost has lingered all day and there’s predicted to be another frost tonight.

Morning all an icy start -1.7 degrees here so a hard frost, in the bad old days of travelling to work I had to set off at 6.50am to get to the office for 7.30, I’m so glad I don’t have to do that now, mind you I’d probably be working from home now, I would have liked that. Have a lovely day and stay warm if you can.

If we manage to get promoted it will be a big step up, we may struggle with the current players but with good signings to bolster the squad there’s no reason we can’t consolidate in the first season i.e. avoid relegation and build from there. BUT we need to get promoted first and that means doing better against teams around us in six pointer games. I wonder if there are any more signings in the pipeline that could make a difference.

I’d rather they stay in the US thanks. I’ve no idea but now you mention Obama he was a proper statesman, how the American people can go from Obama to Trump in a few years beggars belief. Total polar opposites. That may be true but that’s how things work until we change the electoral system it was ever thus for every incumbent Government they never have the majority of all the electorate.

The difference is I’m not a mega millionaire member of a government with hundreds of thousands of followers, no one listens to me. I’m not sure it was tongue in cheek, even if it was it’s not the sort of thing a decent politician should say, what if one of his crazed followers decided to follow that plan of action and tried to assassinate the prime minister or other members of the government? Maybe you think that’d be a good thing, perhaps you think Trump and Musk are great and the world will be a better safer place when they take over in the US and they help Farage to form a government here. I don’t. Time will tell.
