Good morning it’s matchday, safe travels to those travelling to the match, I’ll be listening to Radio Nottingham whilst doing my jigsaw but first it’s also park run day and I’m off to Long Eaton in a short while with my son Chris who’s also running today so he’ll be at the finish to cheer me on, he runs a tad faster than me. Mrs. T’s a happy bunny, she saw a special offer whilst shopping online at Tesco, a 70cl bottle of Baileys for £8 with a Tesco Card, so she ordered it with our groceries. When the shopping arrived they didn’t have any 70cl bottles so they substituted it with not one but TWO 1 litre bottles for the same price £8, not sure how they worked that out but we aren’t complaining. We asked the driver if it was right and he said it must be because he had another delivery with the same two bottles substituted. Happy days.

Oh bugger, I wish I’d been wrong, we’ll definitely miss him.

Yes I wondered about that, I thought you had to have several players called up for internationals, we’ll definitely miss him so hopefully we’d be able to postpone matches but then again we don’t want a fixture pile up.

@Wheelbarrow repair man If you read an unread topic it disappears from the list but if someone else posts in that topic it becomes unread again so you won’t miss anything. Featuring and unfeaturing can only be done by a moderator.

I admit to feeling a bit despondent when I post a topic and no one replies, it’s a bit deflating but in general I’m not bothered how many people view it or put a reaction on. I do like to see the forum busy with lots of folk posting because it makes it more interesting. @Wheelbarrow repair man I’m not sure what you mean when you refer to the first page? It depends how you view the forum, do you go to the dashboard or unread posts? I generally tend to favour the unread posts which once I’ve read one it disappears off the list. If you view via the dashboard then you’ll see your topic about Man City is featured which means it’s stops on the dashboard so people see it and might find it interesting. It has been there a while so I’ll unfeature it now.

I usually refer to my team as Notts when talking to other Notts fans or people from Nottingham but if I was talking to e.g. a Manchester United fan and he asked who I supported I’d say Notts County.

We went to Valencia earlier in the year it’s a beautiful city, it was raining very heavily then, I do feel really sorry for the people affected, the news clips look horrendous.
