@Robbie I love travelling too but unlike you I have done more since turning 60 before that with a mortgage and kids to feed we never had the money, the furthest we went with the kids was France camping. For my 60th birthday we had a cruise around the western Mediterranean it was supposed to be a one off but we loved it that much we’ve done 14 cruises now, visiting lots of countries including Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Canaries Islands, Malta, Gibraltar, Norway and Sweden. I didn’t fly until I was in my 60s. Having said all that I love visiting places in this country too, Isle of Wight is a favourite, I love Scotland too.

I’m not sure whether a down vote is a good idea it may cause a bit of unrest but I’m sure @Chris will consider it and if he thinks it’s a good idea will make the necessary adjustments, @Wheelbarrow repair man if you disagree with someone’s post surely you can politely say so and tell them why you disagree? That’s what debate is all about, if you put forward your counter argument in a polite way I think everyone here would respect your opinion. Incidentally I’m not sure why you can’t message people there shouldn’t be a problem.

I am hoping that most right thinking fans will be sympathetic to Cedwyn and he will get lots of professional help, I’m glad he’s asked for help it’s very important to admit to yourself that things aren’t right and to seek help.

@super_ram is more of a real ale fan, which I am too but you can like gin as well, as long as they’re not in the same glass.

It wasn’t the fact that Big Sam left the club @Robbie as you say lots of managers have but it was the way he did it like a thief in the night. Bolton should have gone about it the right way and approached Notts so that compensation could be agreed, Sam could have left honourably, he owed us that, and most fans would have wished him well.

Good morning it’s a lovely bright start to the day. A nice day to put some washing out, the highlight of the day. I don’t know what’s in those jabs I had the other day but since I had them I’ve slept until nearly 9am both mornings, I never do that normally. I agree with the statement in the Mirror ( @Robbie’s favourite paper) it said “a football coach should be judged by winning not by his nationality” I really don’t get why people are so upset because he’s German, I don’t remember people getting upset when another non English manager Sven was appointed. Can someone explain why some people are so upset by his German nationality.

I completely agree with you @Wheelbarrow repair man why on Earth would he want to go back to all the stress of being a manager of a top football club again at 82 years old, for goodness sake enjoy your retirement Fergie, go on a cruise, play with your grandchildren, tend your garden, just do whatever you enjoy in the time you have left. I can never understand people who want to work after retirement age I couldn’t wait to retire.

I must admit I find the slow build up from the back pretty boring, the continual passing around by the defenders and goalie, then when it goes forward into midfield someone passes it back again and it gets passed around by the defenders once more. I’d much rather see exciting fast flowing football that gets you on the edge of your seat.

I’m more of a gin man but I hope the grandchildren enjoy the whiskey if you haven’t drank it first.
