Good morning, I’m off to the doctors this morning to get my covid and flu jabs, to say I’m not a fan of needles would be a massive understatement, in fact I had a massive phobia at one time but I’ve managed to overcome some of the fear after having lots of covid injections but I still get a bit apprehensive so wish me luck.

I saw a picture of the above game where Notts player Gordon was hugging the Chesterfield player Gordon at the end of the game, I think it was @Dan’s picture. Are the two Gordon’s related does anyone know?

I watched the draw on telly and before we were drawn out I turned to Mrs. T and said Alfreton at home would be a good draw and blow me they came out. Should be an interesting match but who will @super_ram support because I know he’s a bit of an Alfreton fan. ????

Good morning it’s a wet start to the day here. Yesterday we didn’t find my wife’s great grandmothers grave, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack but we had a nice walk and stopped off for a drink in the pub. It was nice chatting with the family. Today we’ve no real plans so far, we’ll see how the day plans out. Good morning it’s a cold start to Sunday. I hope everyone has recovered from the thrilling local derby yesterday, we watched on the telly even grandson Fred was engaged at one point and actually put his phone down. We’ve been sorting out our loft and found some documentation that suggests where Mrs. T’s great grandparents are buried, so we are going to have a look round the graveyard to see if we can find their grave this afternoon. I hope everyone has a great day.

It was a good game with both sides battling hard to come out on top, a typical blood and thunder Derby in front of a good sized crowd. A draw was a fair result but Notts will be the happier especially as we snatched a draw late into the game. onwards and upwards, we’ll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season I’m convinced of that.
