I’ve been away so haven’t seen the goals until today, I loved Jattas goal and the assist from Bass, I think it caught Carlisle off guard so well done Bass and of course Jatta who controlled the ball brilliantly and kept his calm to slot it past the keeper.

Congratulations from me too @Countyman keep up the good work.

As others have pointed out I think the defence is the main difference between last season and this one, whether it was down to Maynard or the recruitment team or a mixture of both I don’t know nor do I really care, I’m just glad that we are doing really well at the moment and long May it continue, I’m so pleased for Stuart he has certainly proved a lot of fans wrong and there are lots having to eat humble pie. I’m hoping that Stuart (and let’s not forget his management team) can take the players from strength to strength and continue this marvellous form.

Good afternoon we are back in sunny Dubrovnik, we’ve completed the first week of our cruise where we visited Souda Bay, Greece, Athens, Katakolon, Corfu and Kotor in Montenegro. Kotor was the only place in that list we hadn’t been to before, it was beautiful sailing in very early in the morning the ship has to negotiate narrow inlets where mountains come down to the sea, we had to anchor off shore boats took us to the port itself which is full of medieval buildings and is a world heritage site. I’ll see if I can post some pictures. No it won’t let me because they are too big you’ll have to imagine it.

Just a quickie from me for @super_ram We’ve just arrived in Souda Bay Greece on our cruise, we didn’t get off to the best starts for our holiday, when we arrived by plane in Dubrovnik we had torrential rain and thunderstorms, we boarded a coach to get to the ship but at the port the terminal building had been hit by lightening so all computers were down we couldn’t check in so had to sit on a bus for two hours while they fixed it. All good now though and we’re enjoying our cruise.

Thanks @super_ram I’ll try to post a few updates when I can but I probably won’t have much of a signal and wifi is very expensive and unreliable on the ship. @TheSkipper take care mates hope you’re feeling better soon.

Morning all, lovely photos @Piethagoram, we had a nice sunset last night but it wasn’t worth photographing as the foreground was just houses. We deliberately woke up early this morning because we want to be tired tonight so we can have an early night tonight because we have to get up at 3am tomorrow for an early flight to Dubrovnik for our cruise. There’s fog forecast tomorrow I hope it doesn’t delay the flight. I hope everyone is well and you all have a great day.

He’s right to say that squad depth is important and I believe we’ve got a very good squad now with competition in almost every department this can only be good as the season progresses and the inevitable injuries start to kick in.
