@Piethagoram thanks for posting that it’s very powerful. We’ve lit a candle for our son Steve tonight who took his own life in 2012 a day that changed our lives forever.

Morning @Robbie morning everyone, very breezy here too but dry up to now. I’ve just taken Mrs. T to a coffee morning with her friends, she can’t drive at the moment as she trapped something in her back which is quite painful, hopefully it gets better before we go away. So I’ve got the morning to myself, I think I’ll do a water change in the fish tank to freshen it up a bit, have a great day everyone.

@Blake your grandad is right “Devo” was his nickname and when he scored his name would ring around the ground “DEVO, DEVO, DEVO”, he was a very tenacious, gritty player who would get stuck in. It was a sad day when he was sold by the then chairman Derek Pavis to Birmingham along with another fans favourite Andy Legg.

Good morning, it’s a wet start to the week here, hopefully it’ll brighten up later. Our holiday is fast approaching, only another week and a bit so we are busy making sure we’ve got all the correct documents and know everything we need to know before we go. There’s no contest for me it’s got to be McGoldrick, I thought he was a class act, the first goal was sublime, the second goal took a deflection but it was a decisive strike.

Morning all it’s nice weather for ducks. I woke up this morning trying to remember why I felt happy then I remembered we won again yesterday, isn’t it a nice feeling? Today as it’s wet we are going to get in the loft and try to sort some stuff out to either send to the charity shop or the tip, I won’t be doing any heavy lifting though as my arm is too painful. At least with us having bungalow with a bedroom in the loft the storage part is easy to get to, it’s just a door from the bedroom, so we don’t have to pull down a ladder or anything which is a bonus as we get older.

Despite having three players missing I thought Notts played superbly, McGoldrick had another masterclass performance and showed why he’s played at the very top. The young lad George Abbot from Tottenham had a really good game and showed maturity above his years it was hard to believe he’s only 19. A great all round performance from the team.

Maynard is confident and rightly so but he also understands the need to not slip into complacency, as long as he installs that into the team we should be ok. I think we’ve got a really strong squad now with competition in all areas, which is really good and hopefully means we’ll have a successful season.

Bass has made a good start to his career at Notts I hope he continues the good form, it must be good to have a solid defence in front of him too. i can also imagine how having moved around a lot is unsettling, at least now he can settle at Notts and show us his best form.
