Lee Carsley is being criticised because he says he won’t sing the National Anthem at todays match. Personally I think it should be his choice, what do others think?

Good morning, I woke up too late to go to the Park Run but it’s matchday, I’ll be there with grandaughter Chloe, I’m hoping for an entertaining match and obviously a Notts win. I’ll set the England match to record then watch it when I get home. I hope everyone has a great day.

Charlie wasn’t just saying that because David was a guest of the show, he’s been saying it for a few weeks now, Charlie is very knowledgable and I respect his views which sometimes can be quite controversial, it often makes for an interesting programme.

I’d have liked watching the spider too @Robbie but Mrs T. Would be petrified she has a real fear of spiders.

Does anyone else have pre match rituals, special clothes they wear, lucky underpants? I always wear a Notts shirt my sons bought me for my 50th birthday 22years ago, the back of the shirt is a bit faded now but you can still read ,”Dad 50” it’s very precious because I only have one son now. I also wear a cap, my old cap which I bought in a charity shop because it said “magpie” got very tatty and @Chris very kindly gave me another one, so I always wear that too. Who else has matchday rituals?

After a grey start it turned into a lovely day here although a bit breezy I’ve spent the afternoon topping up my tan ready for my holiday in two weeks. ????

It’s amazing how close the three grounds are together when you see them from the air, we are very lucky here to have such iconic, historic sports grounds in our city.

Good morning, it’s Friday and the start of the weekend, I didn’t have a very good night with one thing and another but at least I woke up which is always a bonus. Being Friday it’ll be curry night tonight and Mrs. T will no doubt rustle up a feast for our tea and I’ll allow myself a glass of beer too. The weather is supposed to be warmer today so that’ll be nice, we were tempted to put the heating on last night but we resisted.

@Robbie that’s what I said, I agree pensioners just above the threshold need help but then there’ll be another threshold where do you stop.

I agree somewhat with the Government on the fuel allowance there are a lot of pensioners who do not need the payment I include myself in that, it was nice to get it but I don’t really need it, a friend described it as his wine allowance. The poorest pensioners will still get the payment but I agree there are some who are just above the threshold that may struggle, I would like to see them helped.
