@Piethagoram I’m not disputing what they say or what you say, I just think it would be better to talk politics elsewhere, maybe a new topic in politics section with a link to it in this section.

@Piethagoram I’m sure you are right and I’m not disagreeing on that point but as I say the post was started about fruit and veg not politics, I think people are put off by turning topics into political debates and it can cause friction which is a shame that’s why @Chris decided to start a political section.

I’m not sure Notts will be able to stream 3 pm kick offs after the first one on Saturday.

It’s great isn’t it. I can never understand folk who want to work on after retirement age I couldn’t wait to get out.

I agree with @Robbie the original post was started as a non political post about fruit and veg, @Piethagoram maybe you could start a separate post in the political section to talk about that side of food production and distribution, then people who are interested can discuss it. Back on topic I eat quite a bit of fruit and veg because it’s healthy and I like it, I agree with @cheeky~k8 the quality of fruit and veg from Lidl is very poor compared to our shopping from Tesco.

We’ve met up with our eldest two grandchildren for lunch in Nottingham today, our grandaughter is nearly 21 and grandson 20 they have grown into lovely young people we are immensely proud of them both, it was lovely to catch up. Other than that I’ve been trying to sort out this Sky Sport+ on Virgin so I can watch some EFL matches including Notts live, it doesn’t seem to be working at present though.

Positives We have excellent owners, the club has stability We (hopefully) have signed players that will shore up the defence. Palmer will be back playing at some stage Jatta is looking good already Negatives Pre season results haven’t been great Fans are impatient and will get restless if we start badly creating toxicity No real ale in The Nest oh and Macca has gone ???? I’m a glass half full type and I think we’ll have a good season but we may need a little patience at first while the team gel.
