  2. You’ve done better than me today @super_ram I blame it on being exhausted after my 5k run. Connections Puzzle #408 ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? Another 2.

  4. Morning all, I’ve just been an early morning 5k run along the canal in anticipation of having fish and chips for lunch tomorrow. It’s a lovely day here but a little too warm for running, I was drenched with sweat when I got back, T-shirt and peaked cap wet through, straight in the wash and I was straight in the shower. Have a lovely day all.
  5. Wordle 1,130 6/6 ????????????⬜⬜ ????????????⬜⬜ ????????????⬜⬜ ????????????⬜⬜ ????????????⬜⬜ ???????????????????? Unbelievable I started off thinking I’d get it in 2 and ended up taking 6!
  6. Yes for someone like me it’s good value, I’ll be joining, it means after 10 games it’s paid for itself and being a pay as you go supporter it’s a no brainer.
  7. What great story of a dedicated fan and I know lots of Notts fans who have been unfortunate enough to have stayed in hospital will be grateful for his voluntary work.
  8. Neither myself nor my wife are particularly house proud, I sometimes see our very house proud neighbours dashing about cleaning windows, polishing, etc and I think it must be a bit stressful keeping on top of things. We prefer relaxing to doing chores and if people don’t like that it’s their problem not ours but as @Robbie says each to their own.
  9. Well of course Big Tony Hateley is my all time favourite player but of course there are many other great players who have graced the black and white stripes. I guess Tommy Lawton has got to be among the greatest if not THE greatest player for us. Others I would mention would be Jackie Sewell, Don Masson, Les Bradd and latterly Macauley Langstaff of course.
  10. Connections Puzzle #407 ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? Two again, sigh!
  11. I bet it’s boring getting 5 stars every time, I like to live on the edge. I’m not jealous at all.
  12. Morning all, it’s the start of another week, the weather is looking a bit grey but it’s quite warm out there. I’ve got a bit of watering to do, I’m not a big gardener but we chopped up some tomatoes weeks ago and planted them in tubs, now they are quite big plants and starting to fruit, so I’m hoping to get some nice tomatoes. After that we’ll have a walk to keep the exercise regime going. Have a great day folks and if you have time let us know what you’re up to this week.
  13. Yes indeed topics are often discussed several times it doesn’t matter that it’s been talked about before I only posted the other topic for information not to criticise. Looking at that site and all the adverts plastered all over makes me realise how much I love PoN.
  14. @Wheelbarrow repair man I imagine it was because they didn’t want to be associated with The Lambs gang and because they played in black and white Magpies was chosen.
  15. Blimey mate that must have been hard to write, I feel for you. Personally I don’t look at a lot of vlogs about matches but I have seen yours on occasions and have thought them to be very good. I wouldn’t try to compare yourself to others, some will be better, some will be worse the main thing is that if you enjoy doing it then do it for yourself, if you aren’t enjoying it anymore then stop doing it. It’s a question only you can answer really. Not everyone can achieve great things try to be happy with what you are, you are unique, you are special, there’s no one else like you, be proud of yourself. Above all you need some good friends/family around you who you can talk to about your mental health, don’t bottle things up, well done for speaking on here it always helps to talk about things.

  18. That’s probably why they changed to magpies. This subject has been discussed before.
  19. @Robbie as I said in another post if they don't perform I'm not sure that Maynard will be solely responsible surely the recruitment team will have to shoulder some blame if they sign the wrong players, I don't believe Maynard has much if any say in who is signed, he's just a coach not a manager.
  20. @Chris all pics visible again. ????
  21. Today started really nice and sunny but it’s clouded over a bit now and cooler than yesterday. We are going for our daily walk after lunch and popping in to Morrisons to get some salad stuff for tea tonight, if the weather stays fit I’m going to bbq some pork steaks we’ve got and have them with salad. Have a great day everyone.
  22. Yes I realise that @CliftonMagpie but personally I don’t see why anyone would need to edit a post other than a few minutes after if the realise they’ve made a mistake. If they want to add something they can make another post, if they edit a post hours later or days later then the edited part probably will be missed if people have read the topic and caught up.
  23. Welcome @Mark Holland it’s great to have you here on our friendly community.
  24. Welcome @jake008 I hope you enjoy being part of our friendly community.
