Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well, it’s the weekend again, so what are you all up to this weekend? Today I’ll be resting after staying up half the night to watch the election results. I must say I’m happy with the result but let’s not make this a political topic. Tomorrow I’m hoping to do a park run but I’ll see how I feel later on, plus I’ll obviously I’ll be watching the England match. Sunday we’ll be visiting our son and family for a meal, he has a new outdoor cooking station so hopefully the weather will hold. Let us know what your up to this weekend or anything else you want to chat about.

As an OAP if I pay the membership of £20 I’ll get in for £16 for an advance ticket bought online same as last year I’m happy with that, I only need attend 10 games to get my money back.

Whatever your feelings about politics, no matter how disenfranchised you think you are from Westminster, it is vitally important you vote today to maintain a stable democratic government. Think of the countries and people that don’t have the right to vote, think of your fathers or grandfathers who fought in wars and think of the people who died defending your right to vote and to keep this country free from dictatorship. No matter who you vote for it’s vitally important you use it because very vote counts, we are very lucky in this country. I’m not telling you who to vote for but PLEASE USE YOUR VOTE.

@Chris All I see at the bottom of your posts and @CliftonMagpie posts is a grey box see attached screen shot. Is this the forum or me? Viewing on iPad.

I imagine it’s really hard to do something every year just using black and white stripes, if they were nearly the same every year no one would probably bother to buy one. This shirt will appeal because it’s a bit different but still has the stripes, I like the black back so we can see players names and numbers clearly.

I’ll hold my hands up and say I can’t remember him playing for Notts so he obviously didn’t make much of an impression. One of those “here today, gone tomorrow” players. Now if he’d been as good as Brian Stubbs and stayed as long I would remember him decades later.
