Good morning, it’s Christmas Eve. I hope everyone has got enough food and drink to last them because the shops will be shut all of 12 hours. We’ve got about 12 days worth I think. ???? The family will be arriving with a load more food and drink later on so we’ll probably have enough to see out a nuclear winter. Have a great day everyone, Christmas is not always a happy time for everyone so I’ll leave this here.

I doubt that will happen both sides of the argument are probably confident that their theory is the correct one and won’t listen to counter arguments, both sides think they are right. A bit like you and @Piethagoram really. No offence only joking.

It never ends well when the manager starts criticising the players, that’s why you often see managers taking the flak and protecting their players. If Luke has any sense (and I’m sure he has) he will keep the players onside he doesn’t want to lose the dressing room. When things aren’t going right it’s best to say they’re all in it together.

I agree @Robbie we should definitely listen to scientists rather than, newspapers, politicians or random folk on X and the like but there are also lots of learned scientists who say that global warming is very real and a danger to the world, so my question is how do we decide which scientists are right?

Morning all I trust we are all full of joy after the nice early Christmas present from Notts yesterday. I was glad to wake up in the middle of a pretty nasty dream this morning, I hate dreams like that I’m so glad it wasn’t real. Our trip to the observatory yesterday was a bit different, we were shown to a small cinema with seats that lie back and the screen covers the whole ceiling, the film was very weird with coloured lights and shapes wizzing round the screen set to a modern take of Gustav Holst’s Planet Suite. The second part was a wander through space and a talk about the planets and stars. This trip has apparently been recommended to grandson Fred by his teacher. We all thought it was a very different experience but good, it certainly got the kids talking. Its going to be cold today so wrap up if you are going out to do last minute shopping.

It’s got to be Jatta for his two goals.

That result was just what we wanted and hopefully silence the fickle moaners for a while, it’s amazing what a win can do this sets us up nicely for the hectic Christmas period, well done Stuart Maynard and well done the lads.

Fingers crossed.

We need a win today, I hope the fans get behind the lads from start to the final whistle. Let’s hope they show us how they can play and put last weeks performance behind them. If we get a win today it’ll give us confidence for the Christmas period where there’s potential to pick up lots of points in a short period which can change our season completely. COME ON YOU PIES!

Good morning all it’s matchday today but not for Derby and @super_ram they played last night and I was watching it, with around 5 or 6 minutes to go I went to bed as Derby seemed to have it in the bag winning 1-0, I was astounded this morning to see they lost 2-1 . What happened Mr. Ram? I won’t be at the match today as we’ve got tickets along with our son and family to go to a show at the observatory in Sutton in Ashfield, I’m not sure what it’s all about but I don’t say no to spending time with family, I’ll get home too late for the match but I’ll listen on the radio.
