Awwww thanks guys. No apologies for the "this site is marvellous" thread lol.


 


Saturday was ok, obviously ruined by the result.


 


Sunday was a fab day, taken out to lunch by the wife (kettle operative, galley slave etc etc.) Went to a place called Chesters by the river linky thing http://www.chestersbytheriver.co.uk/


 


If ever you are up this way, call in the food is excellent.


 


Followed by a small (8 pint session) in the local. Linky thingy   http://foxandpheasantinn.co.uk/   which is also fabulous. Right on the Carlisle- Settle, and a great place to stay.  The locals ain't half bad either.


 


A lovely home made ruby with a Chateauneuf du pape. And off to bed.

Sounds great, not sure about the 8 pint session, I think I would be flat on my back after 3 pints. :panic:

Neither of you would be able to handle @super_ram, he drinks more than 8 in the morning on holiday and if you get him in a pub. He doesn't leave until they close Haha!! There's some truth in this, just ask @GrannyPie
