Notts County's dreadful start to the season now feels an age away. Three wins in a row and five games unbeaten now has the Magpies up in 17th place in the League Two table, four points clear of the bottom two, a superb turnaround given they were bottom of the table on just one point a month ago. The latest victory is also County's first win away from home this season as Macclesfield Town, themselves still struggling and currently at the foot of the league, were beaten 1-0 at Moss Rose.Updated by PON_News

Was the result fair? I think a draw would have been the fairer result for the two teams, however at the same time I feel Notts should have had not just the one penalty that Jon Stead scored but another for the foul on him that resulted in Jon being hurled into the advertising board. How did Notts play? Very poor, they had no real movement and only two or three players were on the same wavelength – this would always make getting a result harder. Notts County have slipped off the top of the League Two table after their former striker Francois Zoko helped Yeovil Town claim a 1-1 draw at Huish Park on Tuesday night. Zoko, however, converted a penalty 10 minutes from time after he was brought down in the area by Magpies defender Richard Duffy. The hosts were reduced to 10 men lAdded by Joe Jones

Notts County have relinquished top spot in League Two after being pegged back by Yeovil Town for a 1-1 draw at Huish Park on Tuesday night.
