Yeovil Town come into the game only having scored two goals in their last six games, a run of 4 defeats and two draws shows the lack of form by last years Championship struggler’s. However, they cannot be written off because of this as fortunes frequently change. On the 8th of November Yeovil beat Crawley Town in the F.A Cup at home by one goal to nil. The last time they won in the league was back in September against Peterborough. League wise The Glovers

The F.A Cup is a major opportunity lost by exiting in the first round. It's the perfect opportunity to spread a little cheer among the fan base, gather results and of course add money to the coffers. All things which Notts County could all do with in abundance. Everybody always looks forward to the trips away, whilst the possibility of gracing a top tier team at Meadow lane – but is all really lost? I don't believe it is.   Notts c

Saturday 22th of November, Notts County return to Meadow Lane against Yeovil Town. Notts are currently the inform team, however the squad will have to put the F.A Cup exit by Accrington to the back of their minds and focus on progressing further in League One. Yeovil Town haven't won in their last 6 games, yet it will not be plain sailing for the mighty magpies. Fortunes frequently change, so Notts will have to be on guard.   The M

The last week has proved to be a disappointing one for the young lads of the youth team, firstly they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Peterborough 2-0 with a lackluster performance, then just as they thought they could put that performance behind them with a quick return in the league last Saturday against Mansfield Town the game was called off.   FA Cup Report Peterborough 2 - 0 Notts County &#

Yesterday Notts fans both across the world and at the Ricoh Arena where surprised to see the addition of Roy Carroll to the starting line up. He achieved the unexpected by making his way to the stadium in time to pass a fitness test and to report to the management team. He had featured in Northern Ireland's 2-0 defeat to the hands Romania on the 14th,, however not put off or wanting time to relax. Roy proceeded to make his way to Coventry in time to be selected.

Saturday 1st of November, Notts County host Walsall FC at home. Walsall head to Meadow Lane having only won one of their last four games, in fact prior to their last home against Chesterfield FC – Walsall hadn't won or drawn since the 4th of October 2014. Notts County are the inform team, unlike the previous year where we encountered the Saddlers. The Magpies are flying at the moment, so all is to play for.   The Match Officials fo

On loan winger Stephen McLaughlin is set to return to parent club Nottingham Forest, unless an extention can be agreed between Shaun Derry and Stuart Pearce for the services of the 24 year old Irish born player. He featured in his last game yesterday for the magpies, in a narrow 1-0 away win over Scunthorpe United which saw Notts County move to 3rd within the league. When I found out that Basford United Football Club would be hosting an exhibition clash between some of the greatest names to have played for Nottingham Forest and Notts County in recent years, in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK, I cleared all my plans on Sunday October 12 and made a date for Greenwich Avenue. The chance to see some classic players, the chance to renew a local rivalry that is becoming staler by the day, and best of all, raise some money for a good cause? Sign

Notts County Ladies have secured a point away at Chelsea Ladies to elevate them to second in the Women's Super League Table, having previously fallen to fourth place after results in midweek, but could have easily won the game were it not for a good display between the sticks from Blues goalkeeper and Chilean international Christiane Endler. As has often been the case, the Lady Pies were quickest off the starting blocks, Jess Clarke and Dunia Susi linking up well and causing troub

Notts County Ladies remain top of the FA Women's Super League table after a 0-0 draw against current champions Liverpool. The Lady Pies were on top for most of the game in terms of possession and chances and, were it for a little more incisiveness in front of goal, could have found themselves two or three goals to the good. Chances were at a premium in the opening stages with the game largely dominated by skirmishes in midfield, although Jess Clarke produc

It had to come to an end at some point. After Notts County Ladies’ excellent start to the season, a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Everton sees the Lady Pies fall at the FA Cup semi-final stage and record their first loss of the new campaign. The home side – kind of – began the game on the front foot, Dunia Susi weaving through a series of Everton tackles, but her tame shot was collected by Toffees goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis. So, while the men's league season is coming to an end, the women's season has only just begun, and needless to say, Notts County's ladies have gone off to a flying start. Unbeaten in five, having won four games and drawn against Arsenal, today's result was a fantastic 5-0 win against Aston Villa Ladies in the FA WSL Continental Cup (essentially, the Women' League Cup - Continental is the sponsor). The first goal came after just three minutes, as the Lady Pies brok
