A great win for Notts on a tricky pitch. A different kind of win today compared to the win against Swindon. If Notts are going to get promotion adapting to different opponents & conditions is vital for that success.

So who's your Man of the Match for Notts today who battled and dug in for an important win. I have included three substitutes added to the starting eleven.

Wasn't that Conor Grant's best game for a long time? Maximum effort and energy, but this time more things came off for him than not.

I have to give my note to Ollie Norburn though...he's improving every game, so is there even more to come? He might not be showing for the ball like Palmer does, but he's got a great knack of knowing where loose balls will go, and where to be generally. His passing is better too and he made that winner - driving forward from deep in his own half to play a perfect through ball to Ndlovu.

Also want to mention Lucas Ness who came on and did an outstanding job at the back

Based only on radio commentary and a couple of texts from the game - Grant for me.

Long drive and cold terrace, Great away support, pathetic home effort. I’ve been a critic of Grant for inconsistent performances but today he blew me away. Solid and hard pressing for 97mins, Great shift Conor 🚀🚀

This was a game that was short on quality, but that wasn't Notts's fault. The pitch played a massive part, not to mention the anti-football tactics of Fleetwood which the ref did nothing about. So for me a man of the match would be a player who led the way in passion graft and determination. For me it has to be Ollie Norburn. His celebration for the second goal typified it for me.

Norburn had another good game and Conor Grant put in a decent 90 minutes plus but Scott Robertson steadied the ship in that 2nd half. We faffed about after the 2nd goal and incurred stupid yellows that Could still bite us in the rear end But we won on a crap ***** in awful conditions. We’re human, we’re here and we’ll keep on keeping on.

I'm pleased that Ollie Norburn has bagged a Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match award. Well done to him. He's been playing so well recently.
