Tony Pulis has been sacked from his job as manager of Stoke City. I don't think he'll be long out of a job.

And this time it's just about as unbeleavable as it could get. Thurrock FC have been deducted 3 points, and subsequently have been relegated from the Ryman Premier league to the Ryman league Division 1 because one of their players failed to pay a £16 fine from a Sunday League match that took place in 2011! Absolutely ridiculous. For a club like Thurrock this could be an absolute disaster, its absolutely shambolic on the FA and Ryman league's part. But I bet you wont find any coverage of this on any sports news channel. After all, football dosen't exist below the premiership to them does it?

What a great achievement for Yeovil to be promoted to the Championship on one of the smallest budgets in our league and very low crowds. A motorhome friend from Dorset supports them and we have a bit of banter over the internet, I'm just glad I only see him about twice a year at meets, he will be full of it today.

Exacly a year to the day that Sergio Aguero scored 'that goal' to ****** the title away from Man Utd, Manchester City have sacked Roberto Mancini. Despite the fact he won one premier league title and one FA Cup in three years at the club I'm not entirely surprised - nothing surprises me in football anymore. Do think they could have waited till the end of the season though, most City fans I know on Twitter seem to be quite gutted about it. Yet another example of the lack of loyalty and ruthlessness at the top of the game. It dosen't matter how succesfull you are over a period of time, if you have one bad season or half season you will be sacked. Can see City becomi…

RESPECT to the greatest manager in English football (and maybe more than just in England). I've never lived a Manchester United season without Ferguson on the bench: I'm 24 years old. This is a bit shocking news for me as he is pure history and I'm used to see him at MUFC. He has a statue yet...and he fully deserves that. RESPECT to the living legend. RESPECT for the great games with the Juve in the 90s

Congratulations to the team who were written off by most of the so called experts. Once again Man City failed to produce the goods when it mattered most and Wigan, in my opinion, were the better team over 90 minutes and deserved to lift the Trophy.Nice to see a 'minnow' win.

Huge crowds lined the streets of Mansfield today as the bus wa*kers (if you've seen the Inbetweeners, you'll get it) celebrated winning theBlue Square Premier! I can't lie, I was quietly hoping they'd throw it away but 'swallows pride' fair play to them, they've been on a great run and they probably deserved it. I don't know many Mansfield fans, most of those I do know aren't the most pleasent people although I am happy for our good friend Mr Dan Westwell who is one of the nicer people you could wish to meet Now enough of the niceiness towards one of our local rivals!

Liverpool risking reputation with reaction to Luis Suárez bite controversy Although the reaction from Anfield was swift and serious, Liverpool's determination to retain their prize asset at all costs undermines their condemnation of his actions Full Article This is just odd, the guy is very talented but he's a loose wagon. Clearly feels he can get away with his antics! He should be punished more seriously, he should be banned for 3-5 games as his attitude continues.

I see that the Premiership is going to get goal line technology next season, they are utilising the Hawkeye system that is used in tennis. Good thing or bad thing? Discuss.

Local newspapers in Sheffield are reporting that Sheffield United have parted company with Danny Wilson following last night's 2-0 loss at home to Crawley Town. That defeat left United six points adrift of second placed Bournemouth although they still have two games in hand, so automatic promotion is still achievable but I think it's fair to say they're nowhere near the side they were last season. Could be said that when Ched Evans went to jail, their ruthlessness went. Think the timing is ludicrous though. If they were going to do it, do it at the end of the season. I really dont see what difference sacking him at this time of the season will make. Wonder who the…

Martin Allen's Gillingham have gained promotion from League 2 and will be playing Notts next season, it will be great to see him back at the Lane and I'm sure he'll get a good reception. I'm really pleased for him after he was (in my opinion) unfairly ousted from his position at Notts.

Doncaster move closer to automatic promotion, as do Bournemouth after what sounds like a somewhat controversial refereeing display against Notts..Yeovil move to 3rd after beating the Shrews, though I think Shrews should be OK. Although Walsall could only manage a draw at home against Sheffield Utd it does leave them handily placed on equal points with Tranmere..Swindon ,having games in hand are even better placed at 6th and they will also be disappointed that Walsall didn't win. Elsewhere,Gillingham will be at Meadow Lane next season after securing promotion and Mansfield's 4 away at Barrow has done their hopes of a return to the Football League no harm. In …

Once again the results have not been what members wanted.Notts losing and hopes of a playoff place all but gone now.Other teams drawing and prolonging the agony. The upset of the day was probably Coventry beating table toppers Donny. This result will make Doncaster all the more determined when they play Swindon on Monday And Coventry will be boosted for their visit to Walsall.Shrews have a difficult match against Crawley.A few members will have an eye on Notts result with Yeovil being your opposition. The Rams are away at the old enemy Leeds managed by Neil Warnock.Leeds conceded 3 after having a player sent off and Rams scored 3 against lowly Bristol City. …

I am strongly a United fan, I like football in general but that's it. I do not grow attached to other clubs, sure I like watching Liverpool, Arsenal and even Chelsea to a point. Only soft spot I do have is for a League One team. Who do you like? Oh, I lie... West Brom!

Walsall win-Gladlad.Shrews win-welcome 3 points.Mansfield-8 wins on the trot,a club record and promotion beckons.Barnsley beat Brighton.Peterborough draw away at Leeds-unpredictable.And Alfreton(my home town team) get 3 at home.Elation for some fans striving for promotion or survival and more nailbiting and disappointment for others.

Looking likely to be a Bradford City v Swansea City final then with both sides taking a two goal lead into the second legs of the semi finals. How different might things be if Arquinn had scored here... Anyone think Villa/Chelsea will turn it around? Personally I cant see Chelsea going to the Liberty Stadium and winning by 2 goals, its a hard enough place to go to as it is. I dont think Chelsea will be too bothered about this competition anyway. Villa do have an away goal, I think they could pull it back if they were to get the first goal in the second leg, but their defence is so dodgy at the minute i wouldnt put it past bradford going down to villa park and gettin…

What do you hate about modern football? The lack of respect throughout the game - fans/clubs/players etc and the cost of games is concerning giving the little in return to those loyal supporters. At Notts it isn't all that bad, there's a good day out and the Meadow Lane Sports Bar is a great place to visit prior to games but it doesn't feel the same as it used to be. I also dislike Sky Sports with a passion, too much money and the control they have now is worrying.

[center]http://youtu.be/Fo2kvo_vfnw I used to hate him with a passion, now I'm older I actually admire him. I think this is a great video, hopefully one Super Ram will enjoy. Why don't we produce more cloughs? I think he did great with Derby. Love how he speaks about his players! Many of todays managers could learn a thing from him. (including Nigel)
