Jason is a fantastic guy. He’s previously assisted PON and provided support to the manager. And yes, Jason is his actual name! The Morphus family are ardent supporters of Notts. His tweet is quite amusing!

im not really interested in this competition, but i hope we field some of the players who need game time in the matches. it would be a good way to see who deserves a shot in league games. 

Field a decent enough squad, but give Tiernan Brooks the chance to start and many of our younger players. Yet don't just throw them in with fringe players; give some of the first team candidates a chance to pass on their experience. I am not that bothered about the EFL trophy, but I do see it as a chance to give game minutes.

With a larger squad, we can afford to do it this time round.
