Euro 24 Watch (Group Stage)
I need to start by saying the clean sheet and win, that's what matters, but it was quite boring. Serbia did very well in the second half, no way could they have continued to play how they started. I think the Netherlands has had the best start that I have seen (albeit wasteful on goal). At times, I wanted England to be braver, to be more direct, but other than Jude Bellingham we had little idea. Bukayo Saka did well in spells, but he's very overrated. Good player, but he reminds me a lot of Aaron Nemane. He's either brilliant or lacking. Kyle Walker did well making space and shaping up the defence, I think the subs shook things up, but we went too defensive. Conor Gallagher looked useful, no idea how his close control with his foot ended up being given as a handball. I think the referee started to bottle it towards the 70th minute, making some very poor decisions. He did well up to that point, but allowed Serbia to get away with so many niggling challenges. Jarrod Bowen also made a difference. I like him. He does what is needed, and although he got criticised for his clearances. He would win the ball, who cares if he kicks it up the field to nobody. I mean, only Harry Kane was up top at that point, and we risk injuries demanding him to hold up the bathe fieldll. Good opening result, but a performance England must improve on.

Can anyone help me out (health related)
You need to seek medical advice from a doctor, if it's terrible go to the A&E or drop in centre. Don't cope with struggling, but try not to stress about it. The main thing is to find out what is actually going on, what it might be and what you can do to help. I think most Notts fans and people in general would encourage you to see a medical professional. PS. When dealing with stress, try other means to relax. I find listening to music to help me but everyone is different, I wouldn't recommend vaping.

Macca to Swansea?
Swansea should invest in improving their defence, not splash cash on a striker. I don't really buy it. I think Luke Williams may have said that he would love to have Macaualay Langstaff in his team, which reporters are now trying to get the views by saying it's 'serious interest' on their behalf. While his form is good, he will be linked and talk of his move will be rumoured. I don't think it's something we need to worry about; ideally when the offer is too much we will accept it and use the funds to strengthen the squad. I would love to give Macca another 3-year-deal, if we do land a longer contract that would be great but at some point we do need to think what we can get for him. Leaving on a free, when there's potential to get a good fee, just seems silly. I'm saying we have to sell him or that we should, I just think there will be a point where he'll either commit to us longer or we would have to sell down the line.

Kevin Campbell RIP
1993, is the point where I remember watching Arsenal on TV and liking their kit (well their socks). I will never forget the electrifying moments when I witnessed cup matches, where the unstoppable duo of Ian Wright and Kevin Campbell, occasionally joined by the immensely talented Alan Smith, left an indelible mark on my memory. I know a year earlier, Arsenal had allowed David Rocastle to leave, who also died young (33). Kevin Campbell was a very hard-working striker, who scored some wonderful goals in the Premier League. I am surprised that the national news seems to be overlooking the time at Nottingham Forest, as he helped them regain their Premier League status. At Everton, he did well but I felt he was more threatening whilst with our nearest neighbours. Rest in Peace, Kevin Campbell.

thoughts on how the notts team is developing?
A goalkeeper is of high importance. If we could identify someone like Darren Ward, it would be a good call to have someone who can be inline to starting games alongside Tiernan Brooks. Brooks looks to be the future for us, and whilst I am also happy to see him given the chance. I think we need someone who has appearances to his name, young enough to improve but already has a wealth of experience. I think one more CB is highly likely, I can imagine someone coming in who is a little more nonsense. There's the chance we might be able to pick up a player who can cover a wide range of positions in the middle of the pitch, CB/DM/CM. That would be ideal, as I think depth and cover is something we must look at but also making sure players will get game time. I'm not a fan of small squads, as it's easy to see suspensions and injuries derail your progress. The club may choose to sign two more wingers/wing backs, as if Will Randall is leaving then we really do need the cover. Is there a young winger in the National League that we could swap Randall for? I don't see how he will fit in and the few times I've spoken to him. He leaves me feeling he's isolated and not very communicative. There's no need for a striker, provided nobody leaves. Those rumours, I don't buy. I think it would be daft to make a change to the squad, when you think that player may be moving on. I think that is more likely to be at the end of the season, if anything does materialise. ????

Euro 24 Watch (Group Stage)
They got the tactics wrong, Scotland, but I totally agree that their performance made Germany look much stronger. Scotland set themselves up defensively, but never really looked like they were ready to get a grip of the game. Instead, allowing Germany to play. They have some good players, who could have caused Germany a few problems but on paper it should have been routine for them. Now, this will force Scotland to either wake up or crumble. They must go for it from here, otherwise they will be going home early.

The Nest/Fan Zone: Update.
This will be a great thing for our fan base, bringing a central zone and thinning out other areas. I am excited about my first visit! It's things like this which makes me more thankful for our owners, who have been getting stick the past two seasons for supposedly not investing in the right area. We are in a race, which won't be won without reserving our energy and this could be such a massive boost towards that.

Terell Thomas
He did well at AFC Wimbledon but other than that, I don't know much about him. 28-years-old should offer some experience, and he seems like the right height that we need. I had a previous interest in watching Wimbledon due to them rising the leagues and all the focus they had, so I do recall him being a strong player that did well for them. Ideally, he's composed and comfortable on the ball.

Should Parachute Payments be abolished.
I don't think you can pull to parachute payments, whilst it might not be fair I think that more enthusiasm on balancing your own books accordingly needs to be addressed before anyone considers removing what is a lifeline for most struggling clubs. The system is unfair to an extent but so is football in general, at least in terms of clubs being forced into being competitive. The Premier League is extremely lucrative and there have been talks of reducing the money paid which falls down the leagues. In an ideal world, the Premier League would understand that their profits and income can generate a more exciting system. However, they're only interested in keeping the money for themselves. It was a huge mistake by Derek Pavis voting in favour of the Premier League to form and branch away from the English Football League (as did all who voted in favour - off the top of my head, I think there were only two who objected). As for me, the PL and EFL should have worked closely but the blueprint for the PL was always aimed around greed. We have seen the same with the talk of the European Super League. It's taken the EFL some time to adapt, and the rebranding so far has helped to generate more income, but there's going to be further issues if you remove the parachute payments. We ourselves would have been stuffed without the money from our relegation from League Two and made life dangerous within the National League. Yet, I do see how it is unfair but at the same time it really is a lifeline for teams.

Aden Baldwin leaving Notts
I can't help it, but it's very true. To be fair, he should've been much better for us but even the first season he had under Kevin Nolan was masked with plenty of mistakes. Thankfully, we were better on goal that season. PS. If anyone wants to join my anti Richard Duffy fan club, please DM me. ????

Aden Baldwin leaving Notts
I think some have the issue to be harsh on Aden Baldwin, yes he made mistakes but the majority he was played into making them. The slipping and falling over, that could be annoying but I never faulted his effort. People don't remember how poor Richard Duffy was for us - I think him as a captain never reached the levels of criticism that the likes of Kyle Cameron and Aden Baldwin got. The club probably said they were aiming to sign more defenders, and as such they wouldn't increase his pay to a level that both could agree. Alternatively, the club might have had it labelled as a release with the intention of seeing what he would want. He's a good defender, but unfortunately his team mates weren't strong enough to form a partnership that was defensively strong nor less prone to mistakes. All of our back three have these moments, it's mostly down to pressure and poor passing. I wish Aden Baldwin all the best.

Match Discussion: Game 44 - The Saddlers (A)
Notts started very brightly, looked comfortable on the ball and moved it around well. Defensively, we seemed organised and ready to cover wherever needed. Luca Ashby-Hammond did very well, as did Kyle Cameron and Aden Baldwin. Baldwin being the ball-playing defender, he looked very calm even when pressured and his decision-making when passing the ball was very good. Dan Crowley is just a touch of magic, never worried about where he can go but will turn the opposition players inside out in order to make a good pass himself. It was good to see us look for the forward pass, as when we did go backwards it wasn't frustrating or at the cost of being creative. Some of the long balls straight up to Alassana Jatta was a thing of beauty and almost worked, putting him straight through on at least two occasions. There are a lot of comments about the players now wanting to perform better due to their contracts, I think this is weak excuses by those who can't give credit where it's due and simply a means to undermine the club - especially Stuart Maynard. Besides, if this was the case then all the fault on the defeats should fall down to the players instead of the manager, if they can turn it on and off. I fully disagree with these statements, as I feel it's hard work and finally things are working out better. You don't train and suddenly become better; it takes time. Walsall were very poor in the first half, and we simply outplayed them. Some of our fans need to learn to see the positives, it's a shame that we didn't get some of these results earlier, but it's football for you. The biggest plus I saw, was hearing more fans sing at the end of the game to Stuart Maynard. Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley loved hearing their songs, but Maynard looked very emotional like it meant the world to him. @Piethagoram I was sat right at the back of you, judging your pictures.

Notts County Women FC /Juniors
I'm very pleased for them; it sounds like everything is starting to go in place and with them starting up from scratch it is far more rewarding to see. The pathway into the women's game is a lot easier in the women's game, there's less pressure and more eagerness to see young players given the time to flourish which is a good way to make use of your own home-grown talent.
