David McGoldrick Nominated for L2 Player of the Month
Didzy has been great this past month, so I hope his contributions and performances get noticed because I do agree David McGoldrick deserves it. What other player his age is showing he's not lost a step playing football?

Wrexham's new stand?
Worst episode stand ever. I don't understand the aim of the design. The Dragon is a nice feature, but it looks like someone has been building sandcastles. It's very ugly. I'm not saying this to be mean or because of any rivalry with Wrexham, but because it's genuinely disgusting.

Nick Tsaroulla: 'Notts County Fans Made It Unforgettable' After First Goal
I wish we would see him in the starting line-up more often. He's a good player and establishing himself as a regular starter would be beneficial. He has always looked very capable. Sometimes, you want him to take on his man more directly, but I believe he and Jodi Jones could form a great partnership out wide. His first goal was long overdue, and I'm pleased he has now scored.

Tony Hateley left us 11 years ago today
So sad to read this. Still remembered and never forgotten, Big Tone! I bet he's delighted to know he still has fans.

Who is your Man of the Match v Gillingham?
I have voted for Nick Tsaroulla. I feel he's been in good form and has topped a good performance with a good goal. Though, David McGoldrick was tempting to vote for!

Something to think about....
Yeah, that is heavy-handed moderation where the people doing those roles seem more intent on alienating people than helping them understand the rules. I would certainly keep away from the discord channel, it sounds like it's run by people who like finding fault. You were probably better off ignoring the video that criticised them.

Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Gills (A)
Notts are on fire at the moment, keeping us firmly in the running for the automatic spots. Interesting to see there had been comments about scoring twice in the first half, which happened, but unfortunately, a third goal didn't come. Let's not be disheartened by not keeping another clean sheet. Three points on the road, especially against a team like Gillingham, have to be respected. They might be struggling, but we know they can be a tough game. So, I am delighted for Nick Tsaroulla and David McGoldrick. Didzy's goal was pure cheek!

Match Report: Nick Tsaroulla and David McGoldrick on Target as Notts Beat Gillingham
It's the result we needed to maintain our form. Yes, a late goal for Gillingham, but it's a spirited performance by a team who is delivering right now. Nick Tsaroulla finding the net is just perfect. I am pleased for him because he always works hard to make an impact. We should take this as a stepping stone towards greater success, ensuring we carry this momentum forward into our next matches. Each player's dedication is truly inspiring.

Arriving on BlueSky and update on PON socials
It's good to see you, @KB1862. I haven't committed to BlueSky, but I think it's much better than X. People are more willing to discuss and be part of the community. There are a lot fewer cliques or people who think they are above others, that's for sure.

Rumour Mill : Michael Reindorf
The Football League World just make up stories as they go along. They are usually far from the truth when they predict something will happen. I would be surprised if we managed to secure his loan spell. As for Macaulay Langstaff, I think it's just wishful thinking and hype about something that likely won't happen. I can't see Millwall wanting to cover most of his wages if he returns on loan. They would want us to pay the majority, and we simply wouldn't be able to.

????????Pride of Nottingham Player of the Month – November Voting!
Well done to George Abbott. I think he was brilliant during November, and it would be great to see him continue his fine form in December and into January. No doubt he is a big player for us, and having him for the full season is massive.

Who is your Man of the match v Walsall?
I watched the game at home, thanks to Sky. I thought we did well in how we held onto the ball, and a big part of that was due to Matt Palmer. He got us moving, which I personally think only David McGoldrick came close to. So, I have voted for Palmer because I think he did the most throughout the game in a consistent manner.

New Member Ranks, Achievements and Badges
It sounds like a good plan to add these. I wasn't aware that they could be given. I thought the new system just issued them automatically, so that would give a lot more flexibility. There are many different badges that could be introduced.

Keep Calm and Count the Injuries: Staying Level-Headed with the Pies
CliftonMagpie commented on allardyces tash's blog entry in Tune in Next Week: The Ongoing Drama of Notts CountyI found it an entertaining read, very enjoyable. Isn't it always the same with Notts? When times get tough, the negative comments fly and the players get unfairly criticised, as if they don't care or put the effort in. As for Stuart Maynard, some fans who dislike him will never accept him as our head coach and just wait for those moments to claim he's not good enough. I try to focus on the positives, but unfortunately, a small vocal minority of our fans don't.

Match Discussion: Game 18 - The Saddlers (A)
It should be a very good game, even though the squad's morale might be affected after losing to Peterborough. They gave a good account of themselves and really could have won, though some will say they should have. However, that's irrelevant now. We have to do our best to get the right result against Walsall. Would I take a point? Yes, but I am hoping we can show enough quality to come back home with all three points. Defensively, Notts just have to take their time and not make rash decisions. We have been immense this season at the back, so if we are solid in this area, we'll be better up front.

Who is your Man of the match v Peterborough?
I voted for Matty Platt. I thought he was the rock in our defence and kept us structured against a team that could skilfully create chances. It's a shame he went off. I hope it's not a bad injury.

????????Pride of Nottingham Player of the Month – November Voting!
George Abbott for Player of the Month. He's been incredible and deserves to be in the spotlight for this. He's done very well for us and will be a big part of the success we might experience this season.

Match Report: Notts County’s Spirited Fight Falls Short in 4-3 Defeat
Good report of the game. I feel proud of the players and I would have stayed to clap them off the pitch had I been there. They deserved it for the performance they gave and despite conceding goals, I don't think it's something we need to pay too much attention to because we matched them in terms of scoring.

Pedro Richards
What an honour and historic moment. Pedro looked like a classy player and although he was well before my time, I respect and admire what he did for Notts County. I am pleased the club remembered to do this, as it reminds fans of his legacy which is important beyond the colour of his skin.

Stuart Maynard: Notts County Must Be Ready for Tough FA Cup Challenge Against Peterborough United
I would like to think we are a lot more settled in defence and can make Peterborough United work hard to get anything from the game, yes they are a good team but on cup day we are equal to them. The winners will be whoever wants it more, or who plays the best defensively. I am sure Stuart Maynard will have the team well drilled and prepared for the match. We have a good following, so I am sure that will help us get into things.
-
Where are they now: Alan Judge
Alan Judge was one of my favourite players back in the day. He was such a good player. After he left us, we never seemed to find someone to replace him. I see a lot of Judge in Dan Crowley and Cal Roberts. They are players who can take control of a game and change the outcome with pure brilliance.
