Captain Kyle Cameron Discusses Notts County’s Training Regime
It's good to read that the training has been of high importance, and Kyle Cameron believes it will give the club some edge over others. The players do need to work hard but also enjoy their football, so hopefully chances will be taken, and the squad enjoys having a go at achieving something positive.

Notts County Captain Kyle Cameron Aims for Top Three in League Two
The drive and preparation being put into our training is a testament to our ambitions for the upcoming season. Kyle Cameron's confidence in their efforts is heartening. The increased intensity of our training should be directly reflected in the vigour we bring to our League Two matches. All this hard work should definitely assist in targeting a top-three finish this season.

Notts County Ready for League Two: Manager Luke Williams Shares Insights
Remembering last season, it's evident that a deep block situation did arise quite often. If we can tactically outsmart such strategies, I reckon we can maintain control over games. Williams seems aware of this, and it's now down to how well we execute on the pitch.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Reds (A)
I am reading that the final score in the Alfreton game was 5-0. Macaulay Langstaff found the net three times, which is very positive news. Please do share your thoughts; I would love to see more opinions from fans who attended and in general.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Pilgrims (A)
Boston sounded like a very good test. It deserves credit to shut out a team that plays good football, and it says a lot about both teams. Winning 1-0 isn’t a bad thing at all. The fact that we managed to score is the positive part, along with the relentless pushing for the scoring opportunity. It could have easily led to frustration and a lapse in concentration, resulting in them having fewer chances on goal but claiming the win.

Notts County’s dominant performance rewarded with victory over Boston United
Knowing that Notts were in possession throughout the game is a good thing. The important thing to take away is that they didn’t give up or allow frustrations to get the better of them. Winning 1-0 isn’t a bad thing; it sounded like Notts played very well and just needed a bit more luck on goal.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Discusses Player Injuries and Pre-Season Training
Williams’ response to the injuries is positive. I think at this stage, the minor concerns are normal and should be fine within a few games into the season. Having a settled squad with backup options for depth is useful. For me, seeing all the responses except the above is useful. I appreciate the club approaching the injuries openly, as it stops talk of it being more serious or other nonsense.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team's Performance in Pre-Season Friendly
The team seems to be developing nicely with the new signings. It’s a positive sign, and fans should realise that it will take further time for things to be perfected between the players. The signings this season, I think, go a long way in adding quality to the attacking departments, which should ease the defence.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
I hope we can give Forest a run for their money. Obviously, if we lose, we lose. I don’t care, but if we were to win, it would show those plastic fans who don’t appreciate their own club. Much like the 70% who seem to be glory supporters. I’ll make a prediction: 2-1 Notts, with a Langstaff brace.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Potters (H)
There’s no need to resort to the stupidity of losing, regardless of the manner. I think those vocal fans have let down the whole club and community. That said, there are some interesting and very decent comments. Frustration should never lead to anger, though.

Southend Utd survive High Court hearing
It would be good if they managed to survive. What’s happening to clubs is awful.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Boro (A)
It sounds like we have some promising young talent, but whether Luke Williams will be brave enough to play some of them during the season, only time will tell. With 7 subs, any games where we are a few goals ahead would be the ideal time to throw one or two on just to gain experience.

Horror Films: from classic to modern
Anyone interested in watching a film in their own time and coming back to give their thoughts on it? @KB1862 Have you seen a of the Nightmare on Elm Street films? @liampie Mimic 1997 Very good film.

Horror Films: from classic to modern
The discussion inside the post about the TV show "From" has made me wonder how many fans of horror are on the Pride of Nottingham. The 80s were a great year for the genre, with films like The Blob, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining, Hellraiser, Creepshow, The Thing and Friday 13th being just a few of the films I recall enjoying. The 90s were also quite enjoyable, but I am not a fan of those films that use jump scares as their main focal point. I also dislike the first person, self-filming camera type movies. The Blair Witch Project did it right, but most films after that which tried this unique method made it unbearable and distracting. What horror films have you enjoyed? If you were to name 3, what would they be? Let's discuss what films within the horror genre we define good entertainment.

Thought for the day
Isn't that the truth, @Fan of Big Tone. I hope your wife is coping with the medication and is getting closer to being taken care of by the NHS. Knowing that people are well, happy and in good situations is a blessing.

Lost Shops of the Past
I bet if I were in the UK, all the high street shops would be new to me. When I was last in Nottingham, I didn’t get a chance to go into the city centre. So, I’m not aware of what it’s like these days. I thought this trip down memory lane might interest some of the PON members like @Piethagoram and @super_ram. What shops do you remember and wish were still around?

Dan Crowley: Notts County’s Achievements and Style of Play a Winning Combination
Good article on Dan Crowley. He sounds like a good asset and of the mould of Matt Palmer: a quality midfielder that gets the others around him into scoring positions.

Key Dates in Notts County’s 2023-24 Season
The key fixtures sound like fans should have a good time. Who we get doesn’t bother me. It’s the results and performances that matter. I think the opening games will give a good sign of the squad’s character.

Notts County signs Port Vale goalkeeper Aidan Stone on a free transfer
I understand that this signing might not be as thrilling as the others, but he seems like a player that we can get something out of and I believe the coaching team will help him. It’s interesting that he used to be a defender; I would hope his communication and understanding of defending would help him keep the defence alert.

Dan Crowley: The Journey of an Individual Player - ‘I’m My Own Player'
Dan Crowley sounds like a very promising player. He will have his own style, but he shouldn’t worry about what others say or suggest he plays like. If he does well, Notts fans will dub him something; in football, there’s no escaping it. Best wishes to him and his partner on the babies. It sounds like the move happened at the right time for all involved.

Reedtz Brothers Era "Feels like a good dream"
Four years of progress, stability, and success under the Reedtz brothers have definitely felt like a dream. They've brought the club back from the brink of disaster and have given us a bright future.

David McGoldrick: "It's nice to be back at Notts County, it is my club"
This signing feels a lot more important knowing that Ruben Rodrigues has left Notts for pastures new. I think David has the chance to become more than one County’s hero. I think he will prove himself to be a very good addition even though it’s for the short term. The good thing about David McGoldrick signing is that if we need a striker, he can fill that role. If we need someone to cover out wide, while not being the most natural, he can do that too. Yes, I know he’s getting on but I think he and Jim O’Brien can match many of the lads for fitness. Great signing!

Oxford United adds goal-scoring playmaker Rúben Rodrigues to squad
Oxford United fans should be happy because Ruben is outstanding. A very good player, one who should excel in League One. Good luck to him.
