Tom Walters: Derby day defeat leaves Cooper with new questions and answers
Mark Cooper will certainly be scratching his head. His most recent comments regarding knowing what is the dressing room makes for interesting discussion, yet the players have the chance to settle under some one who has a good understanding of football - they should repay him and do what he instructs. I think if he is still here, he'll de-weed those who are letting Notts County FC down. Thankfully, he isn't blaming the wrong area. Good read Tom! Cheers

Match Discussion: Game 44 - The U's (H)
Well the defence needs sorting, as does the midfield - we need them to mark properly. Will Cooper play the youths? I think he will throw a few into the mix. At this stage it doesn't really matter who plays, provided they give 100% and they do their duties on the field. I would like to see Gibson partner someone upfront, however I am unsure if it should between Stead or McLeod. I know fans are fearful Cambridge will get another impressive result as they did last night but Morecambe aren't exactly setting the world alight. Wasn't it Morecambe who bragged about being Real Madrid of the lower tier of English football after beating us? *Sigh....

Match Report: Notts County throw away half-time lead as Barnet clinch victory
The players just seem to lose it once the opposition team gets a taste for the game. I feel sorry for Loach because he sounded like he kept us in it in the first half, yet the defence failed to protect him in the second. Once they scored from the penalty, I had the feeling we would skin. It's not Cooper's fault though, the players should have the fight themselves to overcome the defeat - they are professional players. *Sigh

Match Discussion: Game 43 - The Bees (A)
Awful result, I'm shocked. They clearly don't have confidence or the desire to fight - we are lucky to be safe. Brilliant interview by Cooper though.

Match Discussion: Game 43 - The Bees (A)
There we go, the reason why we need two goals. Why do we always end up doing something daft like giving a way a penalty? It's been described as 'soft' and Mark Stallard says he doesn't know if it was or wasn't. There is one thing to be said, the hard work in the first half has been undone.

Half Time Report: Jon Stead penalty gives Notts County the lead at Barnet
Noble and McLeod sound to have had decent chances. Have to say, I'm pleased Izale won the penalty - when Colin said he went down, followed by 'quite rightly deserving of a penalty'. I did sigh a bit of relief, as we all know how easily he can go down. 1-0 up, it's good but we need another!

Match Discussion: Game 43 - The Bees (A)
I haven't listened to the whole of the first half, yet what I have done sounds more positive. A couple of moments whereby I felt like fans would say 'here we go' but Loach is doing okay. It's hard to tell how dangerous they look, as Colin doesn't exactly describe changes (not being picky Uncle Colin) but saying they breaking with pace, doesn't exactly provide me with a picture of the game. I think scoring another would be wise, as we know the longer we hang onto a 1-0 lead - perhaps the more prone we are in losing our focus. Going two up convincingly breeds confidence. But hey! We are winning. COYP

Match Discussion: Game 43 - The Bees (A)
I'm not sure, I think we would have heard something and for me - it may be a case of jumping the gun based on his comments but who knows. I feel like writing what I did after Portsmouth but @medievalmickey will probably reign on my parade. In all seriousness, Cooper does show that he doesn't like conceding silly goals and has shown it's been something he/the squad have worked on. Barnet a decent outfit in League Two, however even after Saturday I would hope to see no fear from the players. The hard part has been achieved, we just need to see it continue and I hope Mansfield was just a blip. Personally I think it will be 2-0 (or 2-1) but I am quite confident. Make some changes but don't gut the squad, it isn't required. Moniz didn't work through players mistakes, so there was no progression with the woeful defending and I'm not even going to mention Fullarton. Let's just go and do ourselves proud.

Preview: Barnet vs Notts County, Tuesday 19 April 2016
Time to see if the players will bounce back and put in a good shift against Barnet. I said it before, I suspect Cooper won't want to see another heavy defeat, so I think players will be switched on more. After all the hype of Mansfield, with so much optimism - we could do with a good result. That said, not long to go now. Thank god.

Mark Cooper: 'Notts County players need to prove their worth or face departure'
As I said when he came in, I can't really judge him until next season but he's already impressed me - along with a number of Notts fans.

Mark Cooper cancels Notts County players' day off after Mansfield Town thrashing
Right thing to do, after the performance yesterday - the players need to work hard on making sure we don't lose by more than 2 goals. Hopefully they will realise the disappointment by what was a very loyal following yesterday.

Match Discussion: Game 42 - The Stags (A)
Painful and when the trouble kicked off, @magpiejue was caught in the middle of it - her mother is injured (elderly lady). I expected trouble but not from our own, it's just frustrating and wrong on so many levels. At this stage I'm not bothered it's 4-0 to Mansfield (fair play to them). But I'm concerned for any fans caught up in the stupidity.

Half Time Report: Mansfield Town in the lead over increasingly dangerous Notts County
Expected better myself but a goal can change that, Notts must add pressure onto the Stags but it goes to show what early goes can do.

Stat Attack: Mansfield Town vs. Notts County, Saturday 16 April 2016
I have a very good feeling about the game tomorrow, which it has come at the right time - Mark Coopers progressing with the squad and things are on the up. All we have to do is keep focused and make 'em pay! COYP

Mark Cooper says Notts County need cool heads to overcome Mansfield Town
I hope it's not Arsenal v Spurs (2-2) or most recently Sunderland v Newcastle (1-1). Both of which had bad moments, although Notts playing in style like Arsenal did or Spurs wouldn't be missed. Just avoid fights and cards!

Match Discussion: Game 42 - The Stags (A)
I think we have every chance in continuing our form, so although a win would be my prediction - a draw wouldn't be bad. This said, we must go out and continue playing as a team. We will require organization and discipline, as I do think it will be lively and Mansfield already played to a way which broke us down. We managed to turn that around in the cup game after, however on home soil I think they'll want to do the double this season. Just keep Noble a way from disagreements, play the ball calmly but move it quickly - things should click. I'm confident that our fans will be rewarded.

Mark Cooper says "everybody" connected to Notts County deserves credit for unbeaten run
I like modest people, it's a good trait - so much better than coming across like the big I am. Team players will do this, however really, he deserves a lot of the credit because we would be in a different scenario if he hadn't accepted the position (the second time around). It's been awhile since I've actually enjoyed listening to what the manager has to say about matters. So he deserves credit because it's due.

Mark Cooper wants to keep Liam Noble at Notts County
Majority of Notts fans would love to see Noble remain, no doubt he's one of our better players when he's performing well. Yet even when he doesn't he's worth a place on the bench, as he has the ability to change games and is one of the better passers in the lower leagues. I do think his set pieces have been poor, however so has the majority of players. Sign him up Notts!

Match Discussion: Game 42 - The Stags (A)
Firstly, I would like to say - I hope there's no trouble between fans (I'm expecting it because of things I'm reading/hearing). I'm quite confident now, it's the wrong time from the Stags point of view for us to be improving - I'm sure @Dan feels the same way. I just hope the games entertaining and everything which the first home game should have been. I think either side could easily win it, however I am more confident for us because we seem a much different side under Cooper. COYP

Match Report: Notts County record consecutive home wins after beating Hartlepool
Another good performance by Notts. I'm very pleased to be reading the comments and seeing how different things are right now. It's vastly promising! For the difference made so quickly at the helm of Cooper, it just goes to show what difference it makes having the right person in charge. The players and fans are happy, which is long due this season. COYP!!

Goooooooaaallll!! Jon Stead!! 1-0 Notts

Half Time Report: Goalless between Notts County and Hartlepool
Just need to take a little longer when it comes to finishing, build up play is good but just need that spark. Hartlepool have the potential to trouble us, so scoring early in the second half would be helpful for Notts.

Preview: Notts County vs. Hartlepool United, Tuesday 12 April 2016
Typically a bogey team for us. Hartlepool do well working with young players, they just require a bit of experience at times but they have a very respectable midfield which can break teams down when the defence pulls their weight. I think it should be a good game, so let's hope we can grab a second home win. COYP!

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Pools (H)
The thing is, as I said last time - if we let them play, they'll do well. Their midfield is packed with hard workers and they have good options up top, a fairly decent keeper but they have a woeful defence and if pressured directly they do buckle. For Notts, it's all about keeping hold of the ball and bombarding their penalty box. Crosses can be key, as may high balls through the middle. McLeod (if played) could find time and his confidence back because someone like him could make their CB's nervous. COYP

Liam Noble glad to help Notts County to first home win of 2016
There's a lot going around the rumour mill, I think the majority people read between the lines. He's said that he wants to stay etc, so really it's for us to make it clear a contract has been offered - I mean he's improved vastly and although his performances as of late haven't been up to scratch. I personally think much of this comes from the lack of confidence and the environment of Jamie Fullarton's management. If we lost both Cooper and Noble, it would be a major shame when in fact Notts desperately seek 'stability'.
