Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
It was a good game of football tbf. I thought we deserved at least a goal. We had the better opportunities and I think it's fair to say the loss was possibly against the run of the game. It was only a mistake that let them in to get the only goal which Williams owned up to after the match rather than it being down to Cameron which I have to give him credit for doing so it shows great leadership deflecting it onto himself rather than the player. There were times where it was a bit frustrating that nothing was materialising in the final 3rd despite getting in to good areas on multiple occasions only for the ball to end up back or Forest being able to regroup quickly. I did notice that when Claxton played the wrong ball, Langstaff was quick to blast him for it as there were better options available for him to pass to that could have lead to a great attacking opportunity. There will always be those that say Forest didn't play their full squad that would regularly feature in the Premier League but there were many of them that will feature quite often next season. Also, we played a very mixed bag in both halves especially the second half where the likes of Claxton, Munakandafa and Mahovo came on. Jones and Nemane, I thought, did well down the wings and looked threatening going forward. I'd also like to note that Chicksen had Mighten right in his pocket which led to Forest needing to move him on the other side. Overall I thought it was a great pre season game that showed where the players are at and also gives Williams an idea of where the teams at, what needs to worked on and how to progress with this team for the upcoming season to get the most out of it.

Horror Films: from classic to modern
@Joshua the first 2 ghostbusters are brilliant films. Not seen any of the new ones. I don't like films that don't feel like the originals. The Wrong House was a good film to watch. Things like Resident Evil and Final Destination are also good ones to watch. Another good one to watch is The Hole. Watched it in 3d as the dvd came with 3d glasses, only watched it twice but a while back so don't remember much about it but I do know it made for a good watch.

Horror Films: from classic to modern
@AmericanPie funny story about Nightmare on Elm Street. My brothers are all 10+ years older than me and they often babysat me and my sister. One night they thought it'd be funny to "scare me" by letting me watch Nightmare on Elm Street at the age of 7 but I wasn't fazed by it. They told me not to tell my mum and dad but being a kid I was just too excited to tell them about a man named Freddy Krueger. My brothers got a real good telling off ???? Great film though enjoyed it ???? Still need to watch Blair Witch Project heard many good things about it. Horror Films aren't my go to choice of film but I don't mind watching them, they don't really bother me too much.

@liampie totally get it, I try to keep tweets at a minimum sometimes because social media can be a toxic place especially by those who hide behind anonymous accounts. It's why I also try keep personal life away from twitter and keep it more for like Facebook.

Reedtz Brothers Era "Feels like a good dream"
After the previous owners we've had, it's nice to finally have owners who have a real passion for the game and run this club the way it needs to be ran. Their recruitment process has also been fantastic as they suit to what the club needs.

Match Discussion: Play Off Final - The Spireites
The pressure was more on Notts than Chesterfield for this one. 107 points, 117 goals and still not enough to win the title. Football can be a cruel game and in these one off games the season means nothing. Fortunately for us, we got the job done and back in the Football League. It felt like one of those games where nothing was going right and it just wasn't going to happen for us. Langstaff shooting wide after being played through by Palmer, Austin sending his shot high. We did lack abit of quality in the final 3rd though. Everything was good building up to break Chesterfield down but despite being in some good positions we just couldn't get anything to materialised and things broke down and crosses going astray. Nemane did well down the right hand side and caused a lot of problems. Bostock for me was MOTM controlled the game well and let off some good passing play. On first glance, I thought the penalty was a soft decision but having seen it a few times it was the right call. The substitution to bring on Mair in preparation for penalties from Luke Williams was a stroke of genius and well thought it. Both his saves were brilliant, especially his second. I have to admit, I've watched that save more than anything else in this game ???? When Bostock stepped up to take his penalty, I thought the win was in the bag. No idea why he thought it was good idea in that situation to try a panenka. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he missed on purpose to give Cedwyn Scott a chance at redemption for his missed penalty against Wrexham and allow him to score the winning penalty to take us back in to the Football League ???? One thing about this game and the one against Boreham Wood is the fact that this team does not quit and they show real heart to get the job done.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
@Fozzy @CliftonMagpie He's a player I quite often signed on Football Manager back in the day and he seemed to fit the bill so had to take a punt on him. I've read a lot of articles about him since he got diagnosed with MND.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
Gonna take a guess at a player we had on loan as he seems to fit all the above and say Stephen Darby.

Match Discussion: Play Off Semi-Final - The Wood (H)
@DangerousSausage 100% didn't think we were out of it going in to HT trailing 2-0 with the way we were playing. I did though like the fact that despite trailing and time getting on needing a goal to get on level terms, Notts still stuck to their game passing the ball around patiently waiting for an opening especially considering how much Boreham Wood were sitting back defending their lead. It was frustrating at times but there was belief that we could claw it back and they did just that. As nerve wrecking as it was, it was all worth it in the end.

Match Discussion: Play Off Semi-Final - The Wood (H)
Never do things the easy way. Should've been 2 or 3 up in the first half. But fair play to the lads they dug in kept fighting stuck to the game plan and got the job done. High line got caught for the first goal and sloppy pass to gift their second. Didn't think we deserved to go in HT 2-0 down which I'm gonna guess it's what Luke Williams would have said to the lads at HT. Just wasn't Ruben's day, normally he'd be putting away those chances he had today and the penalty save just topped it off for how his day went. Aden Baldwin deserves credit, gave warning after warning about his shooting ability and the first was a cracker. Went to sleep allowing them in, which could have made it 3-1, but he was there to get a touch and stop it going in. Jodi Jones was hit and miss after coming on but he delivered when I counted both setting up Baldwin to take the game into extra time and then scoring the winner. Not forgetting Nemane who was brilliant down the right and made an important interception. Also Langstaff, despite not having many opportunities, still getting into them areas. Unfortunate not to get at least one. But he gave some work, especially when he got back and battled to win the ball following a counter attack. On to Saturday. 1 win away from returning to where we need to be!

Match Discussion: Game 3 - Red Dragons (A)
I'll take that point. Second best throughout the game. Managed to deal with Tozer's long throw in really well time and time again. We were slow at moving the ball, they were able to regroup easily and pressed us down fast not allowing us to move the ball freely. Fortunate not to go 1-0 down as on replays it looked to be onside. There were times we looked threatening moving forward just a lack of support at times. Slocombe has to take full responsibility for the equaliser. Poor goalkeeping hesitant at claiming the ball in when he should he claiming it.

Just how impressive is Notts County's signing of Kyle Wootton?
This week, Notts County secured the signing of striker Kyle Wootton from Scunthorpe United having impressed during his loan spell at Meadow Lane this season. The striker signed a two and a half year deal with the fee rumoured to be around £60,000. Many Notts fans were delighted when the news emerged that the 23-year-old was signing on a permanent deal having been subject to much speculation during the Christmas period and the opening of the January transfer window. But just how impressive is the signing of Wootton and how will he have an impact of Notts Countys chances of gaining promotion back into the Football League? When he originally signed on loan from Scunthorpe United at the beginning of the season, there were a few fans sceptical as to how well he would actually do and wondering whether he was even required considering the likes of Nathan Tyson and Kristian Dennis still being at the club. But Neal Ardley, before signing Wootton, was said to be looking for a strong forward. Which many could say we needed considering the last season it’s something we was lacking. A strong forward with the ability to get past defenders. According to Notts County Stats (@Notts_Stats) on Twitter, Wootton has a goal every 188 minutes with an efficiency of 2.08 - only bettered by Wes Thomas (1.82) and Kristin Dennis (1.31). Though he went on an 8 game scoreless run between September and November, despite Notts winning 5, drawing 2 and losing just once during those games, Wooton has certainly now found his feet and seems like every time Notts get a goal this season and now it’s almost as if it's expected that his name will be there on the scoresheet. Wootton has netted 5 goals in his last 6 games including a brace in the fantastic comeback win against FC Halifax just before Christmas, which in turn was his third brace this season. Many Notts fans will say we haven’t really had a good striker since the days of Lee Hughes, but who knows, now Wootton has signed on a permanent deal, he might be the answer we’ve been looking for to get us goals and send us back to where we belong, in the Football League. New grounds for Notts County to visit next season
Last season was not a memorable one from a Notts County fan perspective. Relegation to the National League for the first time in our history, thus losing the title as the World's Oldest Football League Club. Hopefully we can bounce back at the first time of asking. But while we are playing in the National League, there's something for fans to look forward to, especially if you are a fan who loves to groundhop. Many fans have been ticking off grounds they have visited during our time in the Football League, but the prospect of seeing new grounds and visiting new places should be something to enjoy this season. The shortest journey during the National League season will be a trip to Chesterfield where Notts will renew their East Midlands rivalry with the Spirites for the first time since they were relegated from League Two during the 2017/18 season. Solihull Moors will be another short journey for the Notts fans with them situated in the West Midlands. There will be long journey's along the way for Notts fans during the upcoming season. A few trips to the coast and 4 trips down to London for the Magpies faithful. Coastal trips include journeys to places such as Ebbsfleet, Eastleigh, Fylde, Barrow, Torquay and Hartlepool. 4 of these 6 places will be new to many. Notts County fans will know Torquay, the last time these 2 clubs met was when Notts County won League Two during the 2009/10 season. Hartlepool will be another familiar foe for Notts having played them a couple seasons back. It is unclear as it stands with what will happen with Gateshead. There is problems on going at the club but if we are to be playing them next season, it will be the one of the longest journeys for the fans to travel up north. For fans that enjoy visiting new grounds and facing new teams, there will be a number of new grounds to tick off the list. Most grounds in the National League are not all seaters. Most grounds will have seating for less than half the capacity in which the grounds can hold. A trip for those fans who enjoy British history and culture will enjoy taking the trip down south when Notts face Dover Athletic. A trip to the Dover coast and seeing the historic White Cliffs of Dover which is one of the most famous landmark in British culture. A trip to Stockport County will be one that most will enjoy for the night life. Situated in the Greater Manchester county, it is only a 7 mile trip to the Manchester City Centre with most people suggesting is a great night life. For those that enjoy long walks in and around the country side, Harrogate and Halifax could be ideal with both being close to the Yorkshire dales. The most expensive trips will be to Barnet, Bromley, Dagenham and Redbridge and Sutton United. All 4 clubs situated in the capital, London. Whatever the season may bring on the pitch, off the pitch could be an enjoyable experience for the fans with new grounds, different places and different teams come visiting. Those fans who have the Groundhopper app or similar apps in which they tick there grounds off, it will be an experience for them.
