  1. Gareth Southgate says he doesn’t pay attention to the fans’ comments or their negativity. However, he seems to have done everything they asked for. He gave Cole Palmer more playing time and dropped Trent Alexander Arnold. Honestly, I think we missed Trent. His passes could have helped us against Slovenia and given us more time on the wings. We’ve made it through, and we just need to keep improving. Sometimes, winning isn’t pretty, but it’s enough.
  2. I’m really worried about them. I wish the clubs would unite and try to rescue them. Things are looking bleak.
  3. Slovenia was a difficult team to play against. They exaggerated fouls and often fell with minimal contact. The referee seemed to encourage this behaviour. Cole Palmer is a fantastic player who deserves more playing time. I’m not sure Harry Kane did enough. I would have preferred to see Ollie Watkins. Despite these issues, they attacked and created opportunities. This is a significant improvement, but there’s still work to do.
  4. England’s performance was better, but there’s still room for improvement. They didn’t create enough opportunities. Gareth Southgate should have made changes more quickly. Cole Palmer was impressive!
  5. Great to see McDonald joining the team! Excited to see what he can do for Notts County this season. ????
  6. These days, folks will consume anything on matchdays, but I favour a pie and chips. Keep it straightforward.
  7. I’d fancy two central midfielders and a centre-back, I reckon there are plenty of folks who could provide competition. Let’s not overlook that Jodie Jones can operate as an attacking midfielder, and it’s been hinted that he might be deployed further up the field.
  8. I may have prematurely bestowed upon him the title “KingMaynard”, but who wouldn’t want to see an underdog turn their career around? I long to see the boss grinning, as it signifies he isn’t fretting over matters beyond his control and his attention is entirely on coaching, preparation, and upcoming matches. It’s all too easy to lose one’s composure otherwise!
  9. Hello, @Up the Maggies. Welcome! The content and discussions are great. PON is excellent with keeping fans well informed.
  10. Well done to the groundstaff and board! These upgrades are long overdue. Really excited for the future matches.
  11. I’m not familiar with horse racing, but this is certainly interesting. It’s not often you spot a Notts fan on tv.
  12. Welcome to PON, @Scotty. No fruit loops here, just great discussions.
  13. Thrilled about the strategic changes and new players. This season looks promising for Notts County!
  14. Nick's move to Notts seems like a perfect fit. His style and ambition align well with the club.
  15. I don’t believe Gareth Southgate is the one being overly cautious. It’s the England players who seem to lose control during matches. Foden and Kane could have been substituted, although Kane’s knack for scoring is undeniable. Southgate should focus on improving how his team controls the game, maintaining the initial 20-minute momentum for longer periods and avoiding careless mistakes.
  16. The new player seems like a promising addition. It’s great that the club has brought in someone ready to battle and who has proven their worth. Will Randall seemed like he would be a good fit, but he’s turned out to be quite a letdown. Nick Tsaroulla, on the other hand, is set to bring a new energy to the team.
  17. The remarks about Luke Williams were made when he first started at Swansea City. Now, they’re being recycled in every article to create a non-existent narrative. If there was genuine interest, we’d be seeing fresh quotes, not the same old ones.
  18. While the potential signing could have been beneficial, it appears that Notts County might miss out due to competing interests. It would be a positive development if we could match teams like Peterborough in terms of our ability to attract and sign promising players.
  19. Have you consulted a doctor? It’s crucial not to underestimate the significance of regular health check-ups. The Notts community genuinely cares about your well-being, so please reassure me that you’ve sought professional advice. While anxiety is undoubtedly serious, I hope the issue isn’t more concerning.
  20. Great signing! Can't wait to see Nick in action for our team.
  21. What a fantastic signing! Alex Bass is exactly what we need to shore up our defence. Can’t wait to see him in action!
  22. Feeling proud to be a Notts fan today. Sam’s words hit right at home. It’s not just about the game; it’s about community.
  23. Impressed with Maynard's prep work! Knowing Crewe's adaptability and addressing it head-on shows strategic finesse. Excited for the match!
  24. It's the midfielders like Robertson who can really make a difference in League Two. Excited to see his progress!
  25. Solid performance against Wrexham! Maynard's strategy really seems to be paying off. Can't wait for the Crewe match. #COYP!
