Time for Notts County to give fringe players a chance?
I think one more signing will be made, with Tyson going out but I agree 100% that we should use the players we have at our disposal. Young players shouldn't be judged the same as experienced ones. Why are some quick to defend Enzio but harsh on Ozzy for the odd mistake? I would rather support potential, over inadequate performances. Get everyone fighting to perform well, replace those by giving others a chance. It could be that some are just tired and are in need of rest.

Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Whites (H)
There will be no bluebirds over Meadow Lane on Saturday! Inih Effiong looks to be their main threat. Dover also seems to have a fair bit of height, which every side in this league seems to have.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - Daggers (H)
Tom Crawford has a chance to come in and show he can play well, I think some are unrealistic with how they react to certain players who are still learning. Experienced people need time but I think Crawford can prove his worth. Notts has to win the game, losing could be undo the recent work. It's time to believe I feel.

Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Ravens (H)
What a win! Wait, I’m not getting carried away! Promotion here we come. ???? Not the best game, good 3 points with some good play. Pleased Osborne got the assist for the first goal. Also, it was good to see the squad kick on after being pegged back.

'Epic victory': ARLukomski discusses Notts County's win at Halifax
A bit of consistency needed now @ARLukomski, it shows the squad can do it. The players just need to be fired up and work at creating good chances.

Match Discussion: Game 26 - The Shaymen (A)
I can't see a win, we look empty of goal at the moment. If Kristian Dennis starts this might change, nothing against Wes Thomas but he looks tired. Kyle Wootton is the biggest outlet for us, but I think it will end up as a draw.

Notts County, Neal Ardley and squad rotation
This is the bottom line @Chris. Saying we are always expecting to win big, it's not fair. It's part of the problem, and I agree with Neal Ardley shouldn't have made those points about people wanting the club to fail. He was clearly talking about people closer to the club, yet with players talking about us fans wanting big wins it just creates a bigger problem.

Match Discussion: Game 23 - The Wood (H)
I'm fearing the worst now, I think with the recent press conference if we lose more will want to see a change. The only changes that are required at this point, is by Neal Ardley himself. Certain players need to sit this game out, those that have been woeful consistently and haven't deserved to start games.

Match Discussion: Game 21 - The Bluebirds (H)
I do feel comfortable myself at home, otherwise I would have said a 1-1 draw. I'm hoping it will be clean sheet for us also, so I do agree with @Joshua. My prediction would be 2-0 also, Kyle Wootton and Wes Thomas to start up top. I think Regan Booty needs to be in the midfield to start, he's looked good as of late.

Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Coasters (H)
A good performance would show signs that the clubs adjusting well after being written off, I think after last season the new signings have arrived wanting to prove a point and the club finally has a squad now. I would just like to see Notts attack the wider areas of the pitch. If Enzio doesn't improve, he needs dropping. You can't justify having a player who can have one magical moment, or scores a worldly goal over someone who can assist for longer. It's getting to the point where he does need to shine, I hope this is proven wrong but he's one I don't think deserves to start. Watch him score now!

Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Wood (A)
It was a good game, from a fan perspective it was great to see our support. They never looked like scoring. Very good win on the road!

Match Discussion: Game 12 - The Ravens (A)
It will be interesting to see if Neal Ardley changes anything, I do feel the formation might need some revision but otherwise the teams good to go. There must be 2-3 players itching to get on the pitch to do well. I just hope Pierce Bird is given a chance. We can't just pay players to be passengers when they could do a job. I think it will be 1-1.

Mitch Whiley's take on Notts County and the 'Neal Ardley Out crew'
Superb write up, I think you hit the nail on the head Mitch. This is a long term vision, not a quick fix. We have to be firstly thankful that we have a club in the first place, I do wonder if some fans understand the meaning of support.

New Pride of Nottingham merch out
They do look awesome @Chris! Great job with the player prints.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Moors (H)
Yes. It was awful. There was times when Notts couldn't pass two or three times without giving the ball away. The most annoying part for me is seeing Solihull panic and start to become unsettled, only for Neal Ardley to take of Enzio and then the squad became very defensive minded. It was like the reverse of what you would expect @DangerousSausage! I mean, I would understand if it was the other way round but it wasn't. We walked away without ever really testing them and settling for just a point.

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
You have to hope that the team can bounce back and put on a good performance, bad ones will come but overall we have looked much sharper at creating chances [just not finishing them].
-
Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Glovers (A)
I would take a 1-1 draw, or a goalless one provided we had good chances. I think winning two games in a row might tempt some of the less rational fans to start expecting promotion and then revert to whining when we lose next.

Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Magpies (H)
I can't stand this attitude of Notts beat a bunch of amateurs, a win is a win and it builds confidence. Scoring more than 3 goals is great for morale, lets hope it helps to build character too.

Match Discussion: Game 5 - Red Dragons (H)
I felt entertained and the top of the Kop was electric. First half Notts looked to struggle to create scoring chances, a few good efforts but nothing like the second half. I thought the final 45 minutes Notts looked like a squad that could give a side a thrashing, Wrexham played well but not as good on the ball. I agree the finishing could have been better, yet I am optimistic about the direction. The football was class.

Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Bees (H)
If Notts can get the ball down and use it well, they tend to do well against Barnet. I just hope Kevin Nolan's return doesn't dampen the mood, some will have forgotten that he is partly to blame for bring the club down.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Spitfires (A)
It sounded like Notts struggled with height and a team used to the standard of play, I think if Neal Ardley wants to focus on pretty passing football, he needs to make sure two strikers are in central positions. It seems a waste to see the wide areas occupied by players who are better on goal.
-
Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Spitfires (A)
Come on Notts, lets start the season by thrashing them and putting on a good display for at least 60 minutes. I won't judge the pre-season, but I am excited about the starting game. It will be difficult.

'Know where not to go wrong': Notts County fan interview
Think in summary it's safe to say, we need players who care about the club as much as us fans.

Jon Stead amongst Notts County players released
Correct decision, I hope the takeover happens so that some of those in contract can be bought out. There are 3-4 players who should never wear a Notts shirt again.
