Drinks at Meadow Lane
This has no bearing on me, but it’s still interesting and some of the comments made me laugh. Are Carling that disliked that people would rather drink urine? I’m sure they do some things that are nice. Whether or not the club sells them, I don’t know. It can’t all be lager though.

Close season reflections and pre-season anticipation
The close season went by very quickly. I don’t want to dwell on what I was doing because I don’t want to upset myself. I am looking forward to the new season and, for the first time in years, I will feel like I am with you all. Well, those of you who can attend games.

Late squad number swap for Bostock and Bajrami
I can understand the concerns over the shirts being printed on Notts shirts, but I don’t think it’s that much of an issue. I would guess that John Bostock asked for the lower number, but at least both players seem happy.

Ollie Tipton, Notts trialist at Telford
What has happened to Ollie Tipton and Nathan Claxton? I have checked the reports published on the official site, but there’s no mention of them since.

Weekend Plans Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd July
It’s been too warm and humid, even when it isn’t sunny, so I haven’t had much chance to do anything. I have my air conditioning on even overnight because it’s that warm. Texas can be like this, with the heat being unbearable. Even when it rains, it doesn’t provide any relief. It’s just one of those things you have to endure, but it has been making me feel very tired. @Ohh Tommy Johnson Congratulations to your daughter, you must be very proud!

Lionesses
I can’t watch the games because it’s a bit awkward with the time zone and other things. I have been watching the highlights, but I can’t say I have been impressed so far. However, it’s still early days.

Where are they now? - Joss Labadie
I don’t remember much about Joss Labadie at Notts, but I do recall the biting incident and some other things about him receiving red cards. Hopefully, he has matured and is ready to help Solihull Moors.

New Chief Executive appointed
I think he will slowly settle in and then introduce himself. I don’t think he or the club should force it, and I don’t think the media team will, out of respect for Jason Turner. But eventually, we will know more. Hopefully, he can do a great job and network well to improve the current state of the club.

The cost of spending a penny
It’s the first time for me to see an online forum discussing public toilets. ???? Very rarely are public toilets an issue here in the States. I have never come across one that required money. However, when I was a trucker, there were some service stations where I wished they had.

New Chief Executive appointed
A sensible and hopefully poignant decision has been made, which will hopefully go a long way to help the club move forward. I am pleased to see that a new CEO has been appointed.

Gateshead friendly incident
They may feel that this is a crusade for them. However, I believe that the people involved are not the examples they perceive themselves to be. It’s disappointing because they could have been far more productive. If the message they tried to spread is true, it makes them appear foolish.

Notts County’s dominant performance rewarded with victory over Boston United
Knowing that Notts were in possession throughout the game is a good thing. The important thing to take away is that they didn’t give up or allow frustrations to get the better of them. Winning 1-0 isn’t a bad thing; it sounded like Notts played very well and just needed a bit more luck on goal.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Discusses Player Injuries and Pre-Season Training
Williams’ response to the injuries is positive. I think at this stage, the minor concerns are normal and should be fine within a few games into the season. Having a settled squad with backup options for depth is useful. For me, seeing all the responses except the above is useful. I appreciate the club approaching the injuries openly, as it stops talk of it being more serious or other nonsense.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team's Performance in Pre-Season Friendly
The team seems to be developing nicely with the new signings. It’s a positive sign, and fans should realise that it will take further time for things to be perfected between the players. The signings this season, I think, go a long way in adding quality to the attacking departments, which should ease the defence.

Where are they now : Marc Bola
I am trying to recall if I saw any games he played during the season he was on loan. I have seen highlights. I think if he can be happy in Turkey, good luck to him. I don’t think the league is all that competitive, as the bigger clubs easily dominate it.

Greatest Comeback
Liverpool vs Barcelona 2019. 2005's achievement was great, but beating Barcelona came as a big surprise considering Liverpool thought they were out after the first leg.

Football fanatic dog
What an awesome dog! I wish I could have a buddy like this, so well-trained to keep me company when watching Notts!

Trophy: Grab a photo!
Obviously, I can’t do this, but I hope those who can take the chance because it’s something to remember such an amazing season. If you can’t, it’s a shame for that exact reason, but otherwise don’t regret not going.

Sochaux head for bankruptcy
Good luck to Sochaux. I don’t know anything about them, but it’s not nice to see a club struggling to exist.

Matchday programmes
I haven’t purchased a programme in years. They are still quite popular in American sports, but I think digital copies do outright sell physical copies. It’s a lot more profitable. Notts should look into this, as there are platforms where you can do it.
