  1. Strong performance by Dan Crowley and David McGoldrick. They've definitely got something special!
  2. Welcome aboard @BeestonPie! We're excited to have you join us.
  3. I am quite reassured by Sam Slocombe's injury status. It seems pretty minor, and his recovery should be swift. We could do with him back in full fitness as soon as possible! I do think Aidan Stone looks like a comfortable backup keeper, which takes the stress off the club from needing to find cover if Tiernan Brooks is to go out on loan.
  4. It’s great to see David McGoldrick returning to his boyhood club and expressing his delight at being back at Meadow Lane. I’m sure he’ll be a valuable asset to the team.
  5. Welcome back David. I’m eager to see how you will perform against L2 defenders. Well done to everyone who made this deal possible.
  6. I’ll be cheering on Jodi and Malta against England. It’s not every day one of our players gets to play against the Three Lions! He has been a fantastic signing for us and a bargain at that. He has also brought a lot of excitement and joy to our supporters with his flair and goals. He has made history with us and I hope he makes more with Malta.
  7. I’m delighted with this signing. Randall is one of the best young talents in the country and he has a bright future ahead of him. He showed his class at Sutton and I can’t wait to see him in black and white stripes.
  8. Good news! I will be happier once some of the others put pen to paper. Yet, I am delighted Connell Rawlinson had committed to Notts.
  9. The Reedtz brothers’ determination to bring future successes to the club is evident in their statement. As a fan, it’s exciting to see their passion and commitment to Notts County.
  10. A draw in a cup game isn't a bad result away from home, I felt Notts did well in spells but neither team punished the other or made the most of chances.
  11. 1-0 would do me fine, just get into the next round.
  12. Connell Rawlinson needs to improve on his earlier performances, but I welcome him returning.
  13. It's a solid signing, especially on a free. Torquay United will be feeling like they've gotten mugged due to losing all of their best players.
  14. Rodrigues should play as an AM, play him just behind the strikers in an attacking role. It would be a lot of work for him, as he would need to pull back and cover with Doyle. This is why it would be good to have 2 wingers who could actually defend, not a luxury. I mean Roberts is perfectly fine but Ardley spoke about wanting us to attack in a line. There's very little support currently for those out wide.
  15. It's been a good season, lets hope the recruitment is on par or better than this past campaign. It's hard to criticise the released players, the club has a budget to stick with.
  16. Entertaining game even though Notts appeared to be stargazers in the first half, Aldershot converted an excellent built up goal. Notts responded well from that setback. Second half ended up being the better of the two, simply due to Notts dominating it but it was a good game.
  17. There's more talk about what could happen and the postponement than anything, they're taking the p*ss now.
  18. It's only a bit of wind, football is football after. I won't miss a home game due to a little rain or wind.
  19. Whatever happens, it happens. It wouldn't be a loss at all if Notts went out but winning could breed confidence, or provide a distraction. It all depends. I can see Notts winning 1-0.
  20. Jim O'Brien will be back, that was disclosed in the updated from Neal Ardley. I would imagine some of the other players might make a return to the bench, I don't think Ardley would give it all away in an interview. Chesterfield defend as poorly as Notts does when they switch off. This encounter could be more interesting or just comical overall.
  21. Fair opinion on the away games this season, I didn't expect it to be such a good read.
  22. I don't how much about Dover, or most teams in this league. I do know when Notts plays well or as a team we are harder to beat. On the day it will go down to whoever wants the points more, you have to take what chances come. I'm hoping that we see a good entertaining game.
  23. Wes Thomas and Kyle Wootton up top! Alex Lacey and Connell Rawlinson at the back, Notts will be rock solid.
  24. A cleansheet would be a sign that things are adjusting nicely, performances seem to be quite level at the moment. I just wished Notts could win a team cleanly and by a few goals, it would provide a lot of confidence and would encourage fans to get behind the momentum. I don't know much about Bromley, just need to work harder than them I feel.
  25. Good lively game, I felt like Notts remained on top of it and pushed on after Doyle's rush of blood.
