  1. I think the opening results give a good run; it’s nice to get some teams out of the way early, and for others, we should be more in our own form. I think it sets out some exciting games over the course of the season.
  2. Until he makes his move, we won’t know, but it does read like Solihull Moors really wanted him to stay.
  3. Welcome Kev, it's good to have you PON @NottsCountyKev,
  4. The Notts board knows which players are key. Having done well retaining 4 of the 6 players, it does show how important it is that we kept hold of Kyle Cameron.
  5. The captain is ready to move forward with the club. Focus should turn to filling in the gaps as we wait to see what outcome remains for Aaron Nemane. I’m pleased that Kyle Cameron has signed a 2-year deal. It could very easily have been a single year.
  6. Good luck to Enda Stevens in finding a new club. I wonder if Luton Town might be interested? He has Premier League experience and they could do with a few experienced faces.
  7. I also thought Kristian Dennis did well for what he played. I don’t understand why we didn’t use him more. Kevin Nolan choosing to play his friends over actual talent is something I will always be annoyed by him for.
  8. At this stage, I think whatever happens, happens. I think the captain should be the first to commit. I do feel he will, but it should be sooner. Before going away, if he felt his heart was at Meadow Lane then the deal should have been struck and then announced at a later date.
  9. Good luck but I think he might want to stay and fight, as there’s only one way to go. We have moved on, if he came back it would be the wrong decision I feel. He was a good servant for us but he is not what we need right now. We need players who can take us to the next level, not players who are past their best.
  10. I don't have much to say, other than I wish them well and that they can find an investor to get behind. They won't get anywhere if they can't put their indifferences aside. That goes for board and the fans.
  11. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @calw_111. Pop on and have your say when you can, it will be nice to read your thoughts.
  12. Welcome to the PON website, @Sirrels County. It's nice to see you already contributing, everyone is certainly friendly here.
  13. I have mixed feelings about this. He could be a good asset for us, but I wonder how he will fit in with the team. I hope he proves that he can repeat his last season but with us.
  14. Does anyone know the bet amount? I’ll multiply it by 5, throw in crates of beer and offer these to him if he stays clear of the club altogether.
  15. I listen to Led Zeppelin and I love their hard rock sound and epic guitar solos. They are one of the most successful bands of the 70s, with albums like Led Zeppelin IV, Houses of the Holy, and Physical Graffiti. I enjoy listening to their music on my CD player, which offers a convenient and durable way to access music, as they can be played on various devices, such as CD players, computers, and car stereos. CDs also have a higher sound quality than some other formats, such as cassette tapes or MP3 files, as they have a higher sampling rate and bit depth.
  16. I hope Will Randall proves to be one of, if not the best signing of the upcoming season. However, I do hope we bring in more quality players as we need them. This is a good first signing, I feel.
  17. Joel Taylor is our loss but Chester’s gain. It still pains me that we signed him for a fee but let him go for nothing. It’s not good business, and I feel we should have tried to keep him.
  18. Ricardo Moniz will probably resurface in Austria or somewhere similar. I wish him well, but I do wonder when he’ll decide enough is enough.
  19. It's good to see you have returned, @Nocturnal-Magpie.
  20. Welcome @Lydia, it's good to see another new PON member.
  21. Jake Reeves was a great player for Notts, way above the National League standard. I wish him all the best as he moves back to Wimbledon.
  22. Sam Slocombe is a goalkeeper who always makes me feel confident. Yes, he has his moments like every keeper does, but no one at this level is as polished or in their prime like Sam is. If Wrexham signs Ben Foster, he’s past his best and on the decline. We should be grateful to have a hero like Sam in our squad!
  23. Hello and welcome to the PON forum, @BlackandWhitePie. It's great to see that you have 7 posts as of this already. ????????
  24. What a season for Langstaff, he’s been phenomenal. He’s broken records and he’s been a key player for us. He deserves every accolade he’s getting and more. He’s a real Magpie and I’m so happy for him.
  25. It’s unfortunate to see Ollie King leaving. He’s done well and I hope he finds a place where he can settle in and stay for as long as he wants.
