Alan Smith praises Jamie Fullarton's structural management style
Just spotted another bet on my account from earlier in the season....£2 at 12s......that one has a "cash out" value of 70p!! This is definitely not a get-rich-quick scheme!!

Sounds like we are having a bit of a clear-out?

I think the computer site became confused...............it meant to remove "away win".........because it assumed you were talking bollux!!

Same prediction from me......a loss of 2-0 In a desperate bid to be positive, I will backing under 2.5 goals....and hoping for a surprise 1-1 draw but as dripsey says, I think will be caught out again by sitting too deep in defence and trying to play on the break. I have also placed a £1 bet at 10,000 to 1........ on our "hoofball" tactics taking out a low-flying orange aircraft coming in to land at Luton Airport!

Notts-Joe Column: Alan Smith's experience may be useful for Fullarton
This season is pretty much a write-off as far as the play-offs are concerned. JF is clearly another "gamble-on-the-unknown" type of manager, so yes, it makes perfect sense to use Smith as an experienced managerial aide/coach. He knows the players, knows the dressing-room.....is apparently highly respected by the other players despite being "past it". Give the guy a track-suit with AS on the back, and let him advise JF on the touchline for a month or so. Surely it cannot make matters worse?.........it actually might work for a change, fingers crossed

Match Discussion: Game 26 - The Wombles (H)
Damp squib = wet firework that fizzles out. No bang, no boom, nada, nothing. Damp squid = fish-out-of-water, highly likely to die, probably a bit stinky. Either phrase could sum up yesterdays game??

Match Discussion: Game 26 - The Wombles (H)
Not a good day yesterday huh? I watched the BET365 graphics, wave after wave of Womble attacks....I thought the screen was broken in the first half and had to check BBC for the actual stats!! I had backed Under 2.5 goals pre-match, so made a few Pesos but having read all the comments on the match thread, I can understand why some might want to "hide out" in Narco-land! I honestly hope that JF can figure out a better game plan, than trying to get 9 men behind the ball?......if he doesn't, then fans will disappear fast, and the season will fizzle out like a damp squib.

they had 11 shots on target and 11 corners....wow, we had 2 shots on target and 3 corners......sounds like we were given a lesson in attacking football?

New Notts County manager Jamie Fullarton gave his first press conference on Monday
Does anyone else think that our new manager looks like a naughty schoolboy in this pic....or is it just me? "House Matron, someone has stolen the last of the spotted ****" Matron..."ok Fullers, open your mouth" It's either that....or he is keeping his lips pressed tightly together.....to stop himself from breaking into fits of laughter!

Notts County CEO compares Jamie Fullarton to Brendan Rodgers
I can only assume that the "Forest connection" has a slightly bigger role in this appointment than we realise. Wasn't there some talk a few years ago about RT wanting to form an "alliance" with them, taking more of their younger players on loan etc etc?

'We should have stuck with Shaun Derry'
It is an interesting point about how long should a manager be given to turn things around. One of the problems at Notts is firstly we appear to back inexperienced managers or out-of-the-box managers.....then we fire them a year later!! I actually crave for a bit of calm.......sign a half-decent manager......then give them a minimum of 3 years to prove their mettle.

Ricardo Moniz: 'We can close gap to top seven'
amazing once again......we go 2 down....then pull 2 back....we love doing it the hard way!!........coyp

2-0 down after 23 minutes...at home.....oh dear oh dear

Ricardo Moniz: 'We can close gap to top seven'
i think 3 points today will come as a huge relief.....there is no doubt that Moniz is under pressure to start producing.....or else?

Match Highlights: Notts County vs. Newport County
I love the last goal....it seemed to take an age for us to "bag" it..........how the heck did he get a yellow card for the celebration?......if that was me, I would still be doing a lap of honour on Sunday morning?

Newport County: Scouting Report
I am little bit nervous about this game....Newport are on a roll at the moment, while Notts are erratic at best......going to back a tight Notts win by the odd goal on BET365....fingers crossed
