Match Discussion: Game 44 - The U's (H)
Smithy his done alright up top, definitely given their centre halves a game, problem will be after he is shattered after 20 minutes of the 2nd half. Playing better and some nice stuff after a pretty disastrous first 15 minutes! Watch us capitulate now I've said that.... Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk

Martin Allen: 'Notts County players offered nothing against Barnet and let everyone down'
Mad Dogs dig at Guy Branston is plain to see. He is absolutely spot on and I'm glad he has come out and said it, rather than the "They've go good players" that other managers say. If the players have no bottle then the side is always going to struggle and the players aren't that good! Rip it up and start again in the summer unfortunately, the side needs revolution, not evolution.

Match Discussion: Game 43 - The Bees (A)
Several things that have to be done by this football club: Give Cooper a contract, the man talks sense and doesn't deserve to not have a contract with this bunch of gutless players. He has been dealt a rotten hand and cannot bring any players in, only work with what he has. Sack Guy Branston: Just look at the quality of players the so called head of recruitment has brought to this club, criminal if he stays. Gut this squad: I said earlier today maybe bring in 8 players, I'm now thinking 10 and just ship out 20, pay them off if they are no good. Give youth a chance. We're bringing these young lads through, so give some of them a chance. Not all at once, but drip feed them to see if they are any good. We've played plenty of 18 year olds in the past for quite a few games, some have made it, some haven't, but at least see if they can sink, or swim. Finally, I've come to conclusion that Ricardo Moniz was an absolute genius. To get this bunch of players, playing the football they did and scoring goals is phenomenal. Ok, we couldn't defend, but he must have seen that and thought stuff it, we'll play the football to hopefully score more goals than the opposition. I will be there on Saturday, if only to doff my cap to Derry and Jimmy, two people you could never accuse of being spineless!

This is going to be really interesting, but Cooper has a major problem in the fact that he has to get to a points target in order to guarantee himself a contract. For that reason I think he has his hands tied and won't be able to savagely rip apart the side like he would hope to normally. Low risk alterations are to bring in Wildin at right back, because that position can't get any worse and perhaps Gibson up front in place of McLeod. Sarpong appears to be the type of midfielder we need, as in he can tackle and also score goals, but I can only see 2 of the 3 playing at most.

Mansfield are no mugs at home and I will take a draw now. I think it will be tight, with one goal deciding it if there is a winner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Get in Notts! Thoroughly enjoying this match, much better atmosphere and standard than you would think for bottom third of the table! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm sure Hartlepool will come to attack, as they have picked up recently and this will hopefully suit us, as their defence isn't great. I will be there this week, so in true curse of Foz style, I'm going for a 2-2 draw, with Loach saving a penalty.

Match Discussion: Game 41 - The Boro (H)
200 words @notts-joe?!? I can sum it up in 7 "We scored more than them and won!" Will that do? Anyway whilst you are watching the game I will invite my new mate Mark over and discuss exactly why we never went up as champions.

Match Discussion: Game 41 - The Boro (H)
I'm not there, so we are guaranteed a win this weekend! I think he will go back to playing 2 up front for home games, so I fully expect McLeod to play and I think he will also score. With this in mind I will go for a 3-1 win to Notts, but will also take a 1-0! Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk

Match Discussion: Game 39 - The Chairboys (H)
I'm just pleased we got a point and I'm ticking them off until it is mathematically impossible to go down. I don't expect anything from Saturday's game, but then we have a couple of hopefully winnable games after that to see us safe and hopefully he can experiment after that.

It's laughable that yet again we look like we may need steady Eddie back, but needs must and I trust him more than any other centre half, even though he can't run anymore. So, with that I will go for: Wildin, Edwards, Amevor, Milsom Snijders, Noble, Aborah, Thompson, Burke Stead I would like to see Gibson at some stage tomorrow, but would also like to see the back of McLeod. Match Discussion: Game 38 - Pompey (A)
To be honest @Modern Fan 1862 ????, I was thinking exactly the same thing about Gibson, as he can't be any worse. McLeod has turned into a massive white elephant and might as well be ditched, to think we got rid of Jimmy in order to play him instead is criminal. i also wouldn't associate most of these signings with Moniz, the majority of this mess can be firmly put at Guy Branston's recruitment door and the sooner he gets the boot the better. MC has his work cut out and needs some inspiration from somewhere just to give them a little bit of confidence in order to compete.

Match Discussion: Game 37 - The Grecians (H)
What was the point of the Campbell substitution? Banton was woeful today and had to come off, but as always it was a like for like substitution, no system change and then to do nothing after going behind was criminal. He might as well have gambled by replacing a defender with a striker, we had nothing to lose.

I have this down as a draw in my points prediction for the season. Whatever the score is, I'm not too bothered, but please get at least a point! Let's see who he picks this week, but I doubt there will be any flair selected.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Pirates (H)
He did, we had the U16s sat next to us and they said he played all the game, but kept going off the pitch saying he was injured. The club looks to have decided to humiliate him and make him play with the kids.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Pirates (H)
Appalling display, Rovers were pretty ordinary and we made them look good! First half was average, but second half was just shocking. So little ability it's laughable, to see what has become of this club is truly heartbreaking and the team have now turned into the worst in the division! @tarquinbeechsays there were 3 shots on target? There wasn't, the nearest was McLeod's header, but that looked to be missing to me and the other two were looped up deflections. We will not win another home game using these tactics, we just make it too easy for the away team to hit us on the break and once behind there is no creativity, allowing the away team to just control the game. Sacked in the morning sang the Rovers fans at one stage, we can but hope....

Apathy is the best word to describe the fans. Not heard a peep out of the Kop! Previous games against Roverz have always had a spicey atmosphere, but not today. Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk

I think people are watching a different game to me. Yes we've attacked a bit, but we still haven't had a shot on target! McLeod nearly scored from a Stead cross, but missed the ball and Atkinson got nowhere near another cross along the box. Sent from my XT1032 using Tapatalk

Comfortable win for Brizzle I reckon, 0-3 making it 360 minutes without a goal at home. Post match meltdown to continue with the ticket office resigning on the grounds that they had been arrested for obtaining money through false pretenses.

Match Discussion: Game 34 - The Daggers (H)
@Modern Fan 1862 ???? You dont blame a player for taking wages , money that you pay to the club , and yet saying he doesnt play for Notts but only Moniz?? Listen I know you are no fan of the new manager but surely you have to see that he has protected Aborah here and tried to get him back on board...at a time when he was getting huge criticism for not playing him? Surely his harshest critic has to give him some credit for having some integrity? Notts County FC is most important ..not players who don't want to play ...but still want paid ...I cant believe you would disagree with that You are making assumptions upon hearing only one side of the story. You do not know what disagreements the pair might have had in private and nor do I. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Is he allowed to make one ? Why not, he has nothing to lose now, as either way his Notts career is finished. If he agrees then so be it, if he denies it, we will know for certain. He did have a pop at the Posts Leigh Curtis yesterday about not getting both sides of a story, so there probably is something being kept secret. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

It may also be a ploy by the club to try and deflect the criticism from tonight's appalling display and make fans talk about something else. At the end of the day we won't know until Stanley makes a statement.
-
Match Discussion: Game 34 - The Daggers (H)
This was a case of did Stanley say that he didn't want to play for Notts, or Fullarton? Also, no one knows what may have been said by both sides in meetings, so it is a case of waiting to see if Aborah is allowed to say anything. If it is true, then is he not effectively on strike?
