  3. With respect @Wheelbarrow repair man Warnock was a great man motivator. The "brains" behind Warnock was the late great Mick Jones ( a reminder it was Mick that found Grealish and McGregor for #Notts, not Warnock! "Fair bit of media coverage for the Club" shouldn't come into it, it's all about finding the right person for the job
  4. I'm looking forward to perhaps Bavaria for next pre season.... 1860 Munich for example! Munich bier kellers' beckon! I'm sure Dennis has improved by playing against good German defenders... there is little point in playing the likes of Rolls Royce where one is expected to score at least 10 each pre season. Also playing good teams allows one to analyse your own weaknesses
  5. On communication, I had written to Jason Turner several times over the years but not once got a reply or even acknowledgment. He kept his Twitter profile locked too. He was an excellent administrator but those updates I presume, were personally made only after a nudge from the Bros? I would rather the money be spent on the squad rather than another public relations person. However I do think the club could use help from retired Notts fans out there!
  6. Spot on @Dry Nelson Ray . It is always good to have an outsider's perspective. The nature of football means one cannot get every decision right. The general feeling of most supporters is that "the club is in good hands". Maybe we as a club have gone a little awry with a DoF not fully appreciating nor understanding the #Notts way and then making decisions that have cast an element of doubt amongst us supporters.
  7. @CliftonMagpie Thanks for the vote of confidence but Declan's ( @ARLukomski ) colleagues at Notts County Stats deserve a gateway into #Notts to deliver an opinion. McLeods fee I think was around £115k .... Fact for the day Izale never scored an away goal for Notts
  8. Of course, we need a DoF..how are we to recruit players like when Jatta is eventually sold? The old method of just a manager choosing players is for bygone days.
  9. One year and one day on ( I was stuck in central London most of yesterday) but valuable thoughts from Stan Collymore Thoughts too, to @Fan of Big Tone
  10. Really disagree. Team much fitter this season and I believe the German tour helped in that
  11. Zoom calls not actually in the Boardroom
  12. I also understand that he handed a copy of his leaving agreement to Roos, who promptly dropped it😉 #Notts 🤣
  13. Can I apply to be DoF? On the question of goal keepers, Salford went to Sunderland to source their GK.... given our previous Sunderland dealings, we should have been ahead in that queue. BBC SportMatty Young: Salford City re-sign Sunderland goalkeeper o...Salford City re-sign goalkeeper Matty Young from Premier League side Sunderland on a season-long loan.

  16. Question is ... Would we have got Matt Dennis if Didsy had stayed?
