    My childhood memories on the Clifton estate was eating Midland Counties ice cream https://www.kzwp.com/lyons1/midland.htm We had a small vanilla ice cream block in wafers which were sold separately Certainly the quality of vanilla ice creams seems to have declined over the years. The real Cornish clotted cream flavour seems to have been lost along the way in the last 10/ 15 years
