  1. Welcome @Matt to the wonderful World of the oldest professional football club in the world, please enjoy. 👍🤠
  2. @Chris nice to see you enjoying what you are achieving. What would we do without you and your input. 👍⚽️ Marty and Scooby our two dogs have just found out that we are going up 🥳⚽️ They are good boys.
  3. Safe journey @Fan of Big Tone have yourselves a great holiday cruising, feet up and regular refills of the beer glass. Please post some nice pictures of where and when you put into port. Don't think too much about us keeping the world turning and working our butt's off, sorry I forgot I have retired 😅 now. Enjoy 🥳😎
  4. A very good morning everyone, lovely day here in the paddock in the midshires. The weather forecast says rain around 10 so I'm getting all the job's done that Mrs P has asked me to do today, like splitting Myles's paddock to keep him from eating too much grass. Filling in a gigantic rabbit hole and washing the bath out and filling that. Nice to hear that you have received a lovely present @Chris and with your knowledge and understanding improved it immensely (I struggle to find the on/off switch never mind anything else). I thought thermal paste was for cleaning teeth 😁 silly me eh? I hope the preparations for Friday's departure are going well @Fan of Big Tone and you are ready to set sail. Have a great cruising holiday my friend, leave all behind and just chill 😎. @allardyces tash I think we are having one of those days once again, beautiful early morning then clouds of all dark colours followed by a little shower, then back to cloudy and now total downpour. Funny thing, the weather. Wonder what next year's supposed Super Nova will be like???? Thought for the day:- There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than a true friend.
  5. Good morning everyone, a little damp here in the midshires, Mrs P is over the moon as rain means grass will grow more and horses will be well satisfied. Yet another funeral this morning to attend, and yet another colleague and friend gone too soon 😢 @Chris the wheelbarrow was a birthday present last year and Mrs P has done her floral magic, as she does with our garden every year. The craftsman you talk about was obviously picked on as those objecting had nothing better to do. Have a great day one and all.
  6. Good morning everyone and @Fan of Big Tone the cruise buddy. I hope all your preparations for Friday go well and you sail into the sunset for a great holiday. Horses had the Farrier this morning for their 10 week trim and all went well thankfully, then fed and sorted until later. Off to the garden centre next to browse as Mrs P puts it, and maybe a little lunch if I'm a good boy 😇. The flowers in my wheelbarrow are flourishing just as our team is and long may it last. 🤠
  7. Good morning one and all on this changeable Sunday morning, 3 days back in the UK and all is well 😀 No lazy Sunday morning for us I'm afraid @Fan of Big Tone as we have had our two youngest grandchildren for the weekend (parents going to a music festival) Horses to feed and poo picked, plus filling of haynets and boxes whilst seeing to the wants and demands of our little cherubs. Yesterday was a visit to Markeaton Park in Derby, what a beautiful place, countryside, massive play area and water, so it wasn't long before they were dragging Mrs P for a little paddle. 😂 The sun was unbelievably hot and soon drained Grandad and Mammar. The look forward aspect to this little adventure, mum and dad are back today 🥳
  8. Have to agree with @StarkMallard and @Fan of Big Tone even now we are back home and reality has settled in. The euphoria of not only winning, but knowing that some or even most of our adversaries will be opponents next season is giving me tingles and the hair on the back of my neck is standing to attention. Glad to hear your back is improving @StarkMallard keep looking after it, you only have one. Thanks for the welcome home @Fan of Big Tone we had a lovely time, and would recommend the hotel and Morocco to everyone. 😎 🇲🇦 🫶
  9. Where I think Notts need to strengthen A dominant central midfielder (priority #1) With Ollie Norburn leaving, there’s a hole in midfield. League One is quicker and more physical. Notts need someone who can break play up and pass forward. Another centre-back Even if Macari or McDonald stay, League One strikers are a step up. One athletic, commanding defender feels important. Belshaw has been brilliant for the club, but League One can be unforgiving. Paterson may want more competition. A striker for depth Jatta is a huge asset, but if he gets injured or clubs come sniffing around, Notts need cover with pace.
  10. Today is the day we fly back home, just awaiting our pick up to come. 10 full days of Moroccan delight, food and entertainment out of sight. Golden beach as far as the eye can see, plenty of fun for me and Mrs P. Palais de Roses the hotels name, a wonderful service, no refrain. Back to reality we must now face, memories banked in that special place.
  11. What a phenomenal turnout @Fan of Big Tone we have just watched on Mrs P's Facebook, apparently over 8000 on a work day at that. Just think if it had been at the weekend, I suppose Martin is working to a deadline for holidays etc, must remember the whole team hasn't had a break since before the season start in August. 😇🤔⚽️
  12. @Chris your slogan is now true 🤠👍 A field where dreams become reality Wembley Stadium was that field and the reality is that we are now a big part of division ONE.......... COYP 👏
  13. Thanks @Fan of Big Tone it's much appreciated, had a great day on the 24th and an even better day on the 25th when we blew away Salford. 🥳😎
  14. @StarkMallard I totally agree with both statements, although not sure about the prediction league. My assistant for next year is a Shetland Pony called Diesel who absolutely loves football. Bring it on 🤠🐴👍 Hope your back improves and we all back the Pies in all they accomplish in their new home. COYP 👏
  15. Next season, one to look forward to. As @theAnticlough says, the cross section of fans we are taking forwards, guarantees a great County following well into the future. As @Dripsey3 says we will have some mouthwatering fixtures both home and away, with a big majority of away fixtures a comfortable ride from Nottingham. Proud as always to be a Pies supporter as @Fan of Big Tone always says.
  16. Mrs P was more accurate than the time tunnel @Fan of Big Tone she told me before the match not to worry, the score will be 3 - 0 to County, how about that? We also saw Magpies over the last few days and she said that was an open also. 🦹‍♀️🧙‍♀️ I am now a true believer. OMEN. Not open.
  17. @Fan of Big Tone i have booked it for tomorrow at 13:00 hours, unfortunately the only time available. You have to read and understand the operation of said Time Tunnel before using. Don't know what time i will return, but you will be the first to get an answer to your question. So please be patient with me. 🤔😇
  18. Hello one and all from a misty Morocco. Does anyone remember the Time Tunnel? We have one in our Hotel 🤔
  19. All the way from Morocco to the Pies fans all over the world, did you know:- It was a big moment in the history of Notts County Football Club on Saturday the 31st of January 2026 against Fleetwood. When Notts had beaten Fleetwood it emerged that Notts had become only one of two Clubs, ( Port Vale being the other) that had beaten all current 91 League Clubs in the top four tiers of the football pyramid.
  20. The omission of Cole Palmer, Morgan Gibbs-White, Harry Maguire and one or two others has seriously depleted the team in key positions. Maguire is a genuine go to defender who gives everything for England and always has done, Mr dependable who will be sorely missed. The inclusion of Jordan Henderson is an insult to English football and a kick in the teeth for Palmer and Gibbs- White. How has Ivan Toney managed to get infront of Calvert lewin or even Danny Welbeck, who has had a cracking end to the domestic season. There is not enough depth and class to the team from what i can see, so unfortunately we'll be lucky in my opinion to go much further than the group stages. I hope I'm wrong. ⚽️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
  21. Nature is Nature @Fan of Big Tone and life only progresses due to the fact these things happen. I have a Crow come and assist our big lad with his breakfast in a morning, I call him Jim because I used to work with a chap named Jimmy Crow many moons ago. Insistent little chap, doesn't take no for an answer. Think we'll be bringing these home if Mrs P gets her way. She thinks they are ideal for the kitchen, not. 🥴
  22. Happy Birthday @Chris hope you enjoyed the day. Nice to know there is another ageing person in the same month as myself, mine is on the 24th commonly known as Commonwealth Day. Sixty nine years young, where has the time gone. 🕰 😟
  23. I totally agree with @Robbie the two games against Chesterfield were a catalyst for us to take with us to Wembley and give every ounce of fight, controlled aggression and passing accuracy, the real Notts County. Then there will only be one winner 🏆 COYP.
  24. Belated wishes for your birthday @super_pie hope everything went well. From myself and Mrs P.
  25. Today in Agadir we have the dreaded mist, with the Sun only showing his face every now and again. Not to worry though it's still warm. Mrs P and myself had a walk out earlier and @Fan of Big Tone you would of been proud of us, 8,657 steps. Not in your league though but trying. I made an executive decision though (probably for the first time ever) seeing as there was no sun, we should chance sitting under the reception lighting for a while and see what happens 😀
