Stuart Maynard: Notts County Must Be Ready for Tough FA Cup Challenge Against Peterborough United
Reading Maynard’s comments about the FA Cup reminded me why this competition is so special. It’s not just about the big wins, it’s about the dreams of going up against the best and showing what we’re capable of. Peterborough United will be a difficult test, their pace and counter-attacking ability could hurt us if we’re not careful. However, I believe in the progress we’ve made since the summer.

Jatta interview, FLP
Jatta’s development has been great to see this season. He’s becoming a player we can really rely on, even if his name isn’t always on the scoresheet. What I admire most is how he’s willing to put the team first. Whether it’s making a decoy run or helping out defensively, he’s always switched on and giving his all.

Match Discussion: Game 17 - The Exiles (H)
As long as we put in the effort or secure a win, that's all that matters in the end. Newport County are a team we should be able to beat, despite their tendency to make matches challenging. Notts needs to focus on playing the ball forward and testing their defence and goalkeeper. I agree, a good result would give us a boost going into this crucial and tough stage of the season. It’s important to build momentum with positive outcomes, especially at this point in the campaign.

Fans Forum 19th November 2024
I'm really excited about the plans for safe standing next season. Many fans have been advocating for this change, and it has the potential to significantly enhance the atmosphere at Meadow Lane. I trust the club will collaborate closely with supporters to ensure its proper implementation. This initiative highlights the club's responsiveness to feedback, which is always a positive sign. It's heartening to see the club take steps that reflect the desires and suggestions of the fan base.

Notts County’s Latest Fan Forum: A Deep Dive into Stadium Life, Squad Plans, and Supporter Conduct
I’m intrigued by the plans for safe standing next season. It’s something many fans have been asking for, and it could really improve the atmosphere at Meadow Lane. I hope the club works closely with supporters to make sure it’s implemented in the right way. This kind of initiative shows they’re listening to feedback, which is always encouraging.

Social influencer starts game on Argentina's top flight
I’m a bit conflicted about all this. Football has long been about the raw, unfiltered display of talent and endurance, where every player must earn their stripes. Introducing influencers feels like it trivialises that journey, making it seem not about skill but about popularity. In essence, football is a meritocracy and blending it with social media culture could disrupt that balance. Yet, I understand clubs’ need for progressive, marketable strategies to stay afloat financially and remain relevant. Imagine if it does bring a new wave of fans who perhaps fall in love with the actual sport! However, those already invested in the culture may feel let down, questioning why a genuine fan or player wasn't the club's first pick.

Match Report: Jatta’s Goal the Difference as Notts County Edge Harrogate at Meadow Lane
It's a pleasing result, and it shows the difference between this season's team and last season's. We have an edge now that helps us see out games without getting flustered or panicking when we don’t have the ball. Also, credit to Stuart Maynard, who might have been tempted to make changes to improve our attack but chose to keep the momentum we had built. I felt a goal was coming, so I didn't think much needed to change.

Match Report: Notts County’s Late Equaliser Earns Draw Against Barrow
Barrow gave us a proper challenge, especially in the first half. They pressed well and took their chance, which meant we were on the back foot for a while. However, I thought we grew into the game, and by the second half, we looked more like ourselves. The equaliser was deserved, and we had some good chances after that. It’s disappointing not to have grabbed a winner, but a draw was probably fair given the balance of play. Crowley’s influence was clear again, and it’s good to see Jatta making an impact too. A solid point in the end, and we’ll need to keep building from here.

Matty Platt's 67th-Minute Heroics Seal 1-0 Triumph for Notts Against AFC Wimbledon
Really pleased with the result today. We looked a bit shaky at times, but credit to the lads for keeping their heads and grinding out a result. Defensively, we were solid, and it’s great to see the team able to close out games like this. It wasn’t flashy, but it was a proper team performance with everyone putting in a shift. This is exactly what we need if we want to push for promotion.

Match Preview: Notts County Seek Three Points in Crucial Carlisle United Clash
There should be goals in this game; I would be surprised if it ended 0-0. A draw seems likely with our current away form, but we can only return to winning ways by controlling the game or finishing the chances we get. Notts can play very good attacking football, and we need to see this in tomorrow’s game.

"A Deserved Point" – Stuart Maynard on Notts County's Tough Draw with Morecambe
It’s unfair to blame Stuart Maynard for the draw. Some fans need to accept that we will have days like this and Notts won’t win every game. If they hold onto the desire for promotion, it’s best to be patient and encouraging, as every point matters when it reaches the crucial end of the season. It’s such a good point, considering Morecambe could have had a second, and it would have been goodnight for us had that happened. A well-fought, solid point.

Match Report: Notts County Held to a Frustrating 1-1 Draw at Morecambe
Very good match report. The officials did give some fouls for needless things, but I do agree we have to be a bit more sensible with how we defend. I think part of it was frustration too, but none of our players looked like they were walking. Morecambe are lucky to have ended the game with 10 men and not fewer.

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Gillingham?
It’s a hard decision because none of the lads played badly, but my vote would go to Jacob Bedaeu.

Stuart Maynard Reflects on Frustrating Defeat Against Gillingham: "We Deserved More"
It’s frustrating to lose after such a good performance. I thought we were the better side for most of the game, but Gillingham set up well defensively and limited our chances. That being said, we still had plenty of opportunities, and on another day we could’ve had two or three goals. The disallowed goal was a tough one to take, especially after seeing it back. It looked onside to me, but sometimes the decisions just don’t go your way. Injuries didn’t help either, with Jodi Jones going off, but the squad has enough depth to cope. Hopefully, Jatta will be back soon. We’ll need to be more clinical going forward, but plenty of positives to build on.

Would You like a Notts FA Cup Run This Season?
I would honestly prefer to focus on the league. I would be disappointed if we started to put stress on the squad because we had switched focus to the FA Cup. That said, I don’t want Notts to throw any games, because winning breeds confidence. I just don’t think we need to pay it any more attention than it deserves. This season’s start has to be the focus while we can maintain it.

Fact of the day #Notts
It’s great to see Notts undefeated. It might motivate more teams to put in effort, but provided our players stay focused and work hard, we will be able to navigate things. Sooner or later, it will be reset, but it would be nice to think we could make it beyond September. It’s also nice to see our neighbours, showing Nottingham is a talented city of football.

Curtis Edwards Injury
It’s bad news, but we can cope. It just means someone else needs to step into that position. I agree, there are options, but I am mindful of all the pre-existing injuries. I hope Notts releases news of other players, such as Lucas Ness and Rod McDonald, who seems to be this season’s forgotten player.

Notts County Sells Out Allocation for Chesterfield FC Clash
Incredible news about the ticket sell-out for the Chesterfield match! The Notts fans never disappoint. This isn’t just about the three points but about demonstrating our progress since that unforgettable day. Chesterfield always plays tough, but I believe our lads are up for the challenge. Here’s to another fantastic day out supporting Notts County – let’s bring the noise and back the boys all the way!

How Jodi Jones’ Extension Sets the Stage for Notts County’s Future
Jodi Jones passion for the club isn’t just evident in his play but also in how he speaks about it. He’s noted how much he appreciates fan support, and it’s clear this boosts his performance on the field. A humble player, he’s quick to credit his team and staff, focusing relentlessly on promotion ambitions. His preference for assists over goals speaks volumes about his team ethos. It’s his connection with the club and community that makes this contract extension a landmark moment. This isn’t just about retaining a player; it’s about fostering a culture of loyalty and ambition.

Matt Palmer Reflects on ‘Long Road’ to Returning for Notts County
Seeing Palmer back in action is truly uplifting. As a fan, you can’t underestimate what he brings to the team - both in terms of skill and leadership. His performance against Bromley illustrated why he is so crucial to Notts Despite the shaky start, the way he helped the team stay composed and turn the game around was remarkable. His candid reflections on his journey back from injury give us a real sense of the challenges players face. Plus, his focus on team effort rather than individual glory is what solidifies him as a true leader. His return has undoubtedly boosted our chances this season, and here's hoping he stays fit and continues to inspire.

A Statement From The Notts County Board of Directors.
Notts County did the right thing. The team should not get too excited or upset about things on social media that are not important.

Morecambe FC : Fact of the day
The first three games are tough, and it will not be easy to play at Crewe Alexandra when the team is not playing well. It is a difficult start for Morecambe, but they should be able to start winning points

Reading this article brought back so many memories of Paul Devlin's time at Notts. His combative style and knack for finding the back of the net were precisely what the team needed. His legacy at the club remains strong, especially with his role in the Premier League promotion. Devlin's story is a beautiful reminder of what passion and dedication can achieve in football. Thanks for such a detailed recap of his career!
