There needs to be changes made to the format of the FA Cup. I would have Premier League teams enter the competition from the first round. I would bring back replays for the first four rounds, so lower league clubs can earn more money from that replay. I would also fine Clubs for not picking their strongest team. I would go back to having all FA Cup matches played on a Saturday, with a number played on the Sunday, to encourage higher attendances. Only replays would be played midweek as they used to be in the past. I would also reduce the number of live TV matches that are made available to try to encourage higher attendances at those FA Cup matches.

For me it's not all about what a particular individual leader like Trump wants. It's what the people of Greenland want. Same goes for Canada & Panama. It's similar to the Falklands. The Falkland Islanders want to stay British, not Argentinian. Until they decide otherwise they should remain British. You could say the same about the Chagos Islanders. They don't want to be part of Mauritius. The Chagos Islanders wishes should be paramount.

@DangerousSausageI agree about Trump deflecting Interestingly, I believe oil exploration is banned on Greenland to preserve the beauty of the World's largest Island, & for green reasons too. It would be silly to pick a fight with Denmark, the EU, Canada & Panama, but you just never know with Trump, what his next move will be. As for Elon, I wouldn't be surprised that within six months, Elon will move onto something new, & leave the Trump administration, but there again, I might be wrong.

I think this is quite a shock. Sean Dyche is one of the best Managers in the Football League. Just 1 win in 11 since before Xmas has made Everton's new owners to look for someone else. I don't think that Sean will be out of work long. He's sure to get an offer from either another PL or Championship Club. It's just sad that the Manager merry-go-round continues apace, with Clubs always wanting that money buck success.

Devastating wildfires in California have already killed five people and destroyed thousands of properties. Apparently, many of these fires have been started deliberately. Malibu is one of those areas that has been badly hit. Hundreds of firefighters are trying to bring these fires under control, but they are being hampered by very strong winds that are fanning the flames from property to property.

Denmark is a Country that is a member of NATO, so it would be absurd if USA tried to take Greenland by force. USA would be breaking a treaty they signed up to.

Greenland has been in the news over the last week or two with Donald Trump expressing an interest in the USA buying the Island that is a self governing territory of Denmark. There are 56,000 people live on Greenland, a very inhospitable place to live. We know why Trump wants to buy it. The Island is a treasure trove of minerals & raw material. It will probably have very large Oil & Gas reserves too.. Greenland should just remain as it is, because if the USA gets control of the Island the lives of the population would never be the same As far as buying the Island, that should be a no no, but I think the cost would be even too much for the US. In my opinion, it should be the Greenlandic people who should decide over their future, no one else.

Another cold morning here with temperatures below zero. Lots of snow up in Scotland . I'm sure the ski resort at Aviemore is getting lots of business. I suppose there will be lots of businesses hoping the cold weather continues, as they trade in winter clothing & supply equipment for winter pursuits. I must admit I did try some skating as a boy at the Nottingham Ice rink, but I spent more time flat out on the Ice rather than Skating.

It's been very cold here today with the temperature steady just below freezing. There has been frost on the ground all day here on our back garden. A cold night is forecast here with a possible low of -6 deg. In Scotland they are forecasting -15 Deg, the coldest in 15 years. Just wondering if there's a possibility that the Grimsby match may be called off if the cold weather persists.

70 points got Crawley into the playoffs in 7th place last season, so 30 points from 22 games for Notts should be achieved as a minimum amount. I think a playoff place is very much achievable. An automatic place will be a little harder. I think 82 points may be enough for third place but that's 42 points needed by Notts, from 22 games.

If Elon is ruffling a few feathers in the Government and ensuring that current issues of concern are being put into the public domain, it has to be a good thing. He has certainly got the Country & Parliament talking. The government is under pressure to change course on a number of issues. I'm sure questions to the PM will be interesting on Wednesday, & we will see how the PM deals with all the flack he's getting.

It's going to get cold Tuesday evening.

Apparently they have been getting a lot of correspondence so there must be a problem where car park customers are being overcharged. I noticed that in some areas of the car park the lighting wasn't very good, so I'm wondering if the cameras have a problem reading the reg plate of cars, & if it cannot be read it defaults to 6 am, instead of the time a car actually arrived.

Elon Musk's Grandmother was British. Musk could, if he wanted, apply for British Citizenship due to ancestry. So could Donald Trump for that matter. Musk has family & business interests here, so he has every right, just as anyone else, to express an opinion. Didn't Obama come to this Country in 2016 & try to influence the Brexit vote? Didn't see anyone on the remain side complain about that. And didn't we see Bill gates meeting with Starmer a few months ago. Was that tantamount to interfering? Yet nothing said from the left about that.. As far as Labour having a mandate is concerned. They only got just over 20% of the total electoral vote. Hardly a mandate
