- Here's an Idea
Ten points within one thread is lots to talk about???? Looks like this thread will keep us debating on these 10 points for a long time- Here's an Idea
@Simon Clark I get what you say, but as I have said previously, of course the playoffs are exciting for the neutrals and the media because the media makes lots of money, but I put it to you that the playoffs are not fair to the club that just misses out on promotion. The league is a test of how consistent a team can be over a season of 46 games. In the playoffs it is how one team plays on the day. One mistake can destroy a whole seasons work. All the hard work over a season can be undone by just one off game & I personally don't think that is right. I feel sorry for MK Dons who finished fourth but lost in the playoff eliminator. I bet the players and the supporters were gutted, just as we would have felt if we had lost to Boreham Wood.- Europa League
UEFA will reportedly allow Manchester United to play in the Europa League next season despite the European governing body's restrictions on multi-club ownership. United and Nice, who are also owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe's company Ineos, have both qualified for the competition next season. Looks like UEFA are going to bend the rules so United can play in the Europa league next season even though Nice qualified first. One of the big six set to win again. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-13487753/Man-United-ALLOWED-play-alongside-sister-Nice-seasons-Europa-League-subject-certain-conditions-UEFA-change-multi-ownership-rules.html- Tennis.
