I like Stuart Maynard and I believe the Reedtz brothers made an excellent choice when they appointed him. I am very optimistic that Stuart and his team will turn things around and we will see improved performances in these last 12 games of the season. The support of the fans are also vital during this run in. They really do need to get behind Stuart & the team because they can act as that 12th man if a match is close. I believe the criticism that Stuart has had from some supporters is totally unwarrented.and I hope that it will stop because it is having a detrimental affect, and it won't help the team at all.

A terrible day for England after the first day of the fifth Test against India. England were bowled out for 218 after electing to bat first, then India replied with 135 for the loss of one wicket at stumps. India end the day well in control and the prospects for England in this match don't look good.

I believe we should return to plan A for this match and go on the all out attack mode. We know we can hurt any team in this league with our attack. I would go to a back 5 with three in midfield with Didzy supporting Langstaff up front. Our defence is going to be important as always to get a positive result, and it's time to stop trying to play out of defense all the time when under pressure, but play safe and kick the ball into touch if necessary, or boot the ball upfield. Hoping for a positive result. A 3:1 win would be great if Notts could achieve it

I was very disappointed to witness a section of the Notts Supporters booing the team and the modern day experience of seeing the vitriol aimed at the Head Coach and team on social media after the match. Since we were relegated to the National League, supporters, and significantly, the new supporters have seen nothing but success and good performances from the team. Even when we lost in the National League playoffs, it was still regarded by many as a successful season. When we got promoted there was a sense that the success would continue this season and now that it looks like this may not happen, some supporters have become very disappointed. I don't share their disapointment.I believe the team has done ok and to think we are still in the mix for a playoff place with 12 games to go should encourage Notts fans to get behind the team, and I hope that the vast majority will.
