  1. The goals tonight. The
  2. Post match Stuart's verdict on a great win.
  3. Wednesday morning Weather. A cold start to Wednesday in Scotland but a mostly bright and very frosty picture in the north at first Cloudier and much milder elsewhere with periods of rain and drizzle in places, this edging north and falling as snow in the southern Highlands of Scotland later.
  4. What a result in Wales with a new formation that worked for Stuart. Pity we didn't get the clean sheet, we certainly deserved it. Very soft penalty for them but 3:1 is tremendous. On to Wrexham on Saturday with renewed confidence. Absolutely over the moon tonight. The playoffs are still possible. First win of 10 needed.
  5. Surely @KB1862 if the Ref has marked the pitch, if the ball is moved outside that mark, and a goal results from that free kick, the goal should be disallowed by VAR and the offending player booked. This is the problem with VAR. I think some rules need to be rewritten.
  6. Notts team to face Newport tonight. Ashby-Hammond Debut Macari in for Nemane. Looks like a back 4, but we'll see.
  7. It will be tough for GB Hockey to qualify for the Olympics. This is a tough group to qualify from.
  8. This looks like a good team for the match tonight.
  9. Another problem VAR is reluctant to solve because VAR doesn't interfere.
  10. Your weather for Tuesday afternoon. A largely cloudy afternoon for most of England and Wales with periods of rain and drizzle edging northwards Brighter further north with some sunshine, but showers in parts of Scotland, these blustery in the north Turning milder in the south. 11. Your Weather for Tuesday morning. A bright start to Tuesday, though cloud and rain moving in from the southwest as the morning progresses
  12. @KB1862 £100 million is out of sight for the vast majority of clubs in the football pyramid. That's what a pyramid is. The point at the top with the vast majority of wealth and the mass of clubs around the Country all the way to the bottom of the pyramid who have a few thousand pounds if they are lucky.
  13. Agree with what you have said @Wheelbarrow repair man For example, Jodi and Nemane are not really wing backs in the modern sense, they are very good wingers at this level. Great going forward but not at the same level when defending. It's going to be interesting how Stuart balances the need to defend, with the need to attack. Luke couldn't solve that conundrum. We've seen some improvement against Barrow and Mansfield. Now we need to see much more for the Newport game
  14. They say just £100 million spent in a month. That is still an amount that teams outside the the Premier league can only dream about. The way the media say 'just only'. It's as if they are disappointed.
  15. Weather for Monday evening.
  16. @Chris I agree. Sometimes when a side is conceding goals and losing big, changes have to be made. As an example, the club across the river last season tried to play like they did in the championship. Attempting to play open football. It didn't work, they were conceding goals like nobody's business and they had to change their style, graft, pack their midfield and work hard to get a result which was largely successful. It wasn't pretty but it was effective. We've been found out by the other clubs in this league. We have to try something different, otherwise we will continue to keep on leaking goals
