Lincoln City Emerges Victorious in Gruelling Encounter with Notts County
the result and outcome does not bother me, i am just glad that some of the youngsters got some vital first team experience and now we can focus on bigger things like the league and fa cup. though the main focus must be on the league.

The little known story of Wojtek the Bear, memorial in Sopot Poland
this is a great story! i have never heard of wojtek. i did read that russian forces used dogs to blow up tanks.

Dan Gosling’s Excitement for Notts County’s Progression: A Boost for Magpies
it does like hes come here to play and that come january his decision will be based on the amount of games he played and what we can offer him. i like that he does not want to sit idle and collect wages for doing nothing, i hope he does well and can fill the void that the loss of matt palmer brings. i think he could be a great player for us, someone that has the quality to do the quiet things which gets us going.

Aden Baldwin Reveals Notts County's Grit in Epic FA Cup Win
im not bothered that they scored twice, i am not worried that some of the players really had a bad day. all that matters is persevering and pushing for the win. we wont always be able to play entertaining football and dont cup games always tend to be like this? its just good to get the job done at meadow lane.

Notts County’s 5000th Game: More Than Just Points at Stake
i am hoping the game is not called off, i am very much looking forward to the game and i hope that everyone manages to get to the ground without issue. i think we need to put together a good performance, win, lose or draw. provided the players leave it all on the pitch i will be happy.

Rising to the Challenge: Luke Williams’ Take on Notts County’s Pursuit in League Two
i am hoping if ollie tipton or the other loanee is not the answer to help us at the back, that we do bring in another cb come january but most things can be worked on in training. the mansfield game could have been perhaps managed a lot better by the players, if i were williams i would not have be happy but since he the forest green game. i dont think he will say, now is the time we encourage and show support to the players tho.

‘Fans Are the Heartbeat of the Club’: David McGoldrick Acknowledges Notts County Supporters
david mcgoldrick for me was one of the standout players who put in a lot of effort against mansfield, he tried and did well i felt. hes right about the support being the heart of the club, i am incredibly proud to be a notts fan now more than ever before. this is largely down to our current squad, luke williams and our owners. i want them to realise that we are a good league two team, the pressure to succeed is only matched out desire to progress the leagues. we can do this!

The Road to 5,000: Notts County’s Historic Football League Journey
please dont say this, we have lost enough this year with @GrannyPie. besides we could have a down pour of rain across the uk and gillingham call the game off, but dont mention that bucket please. we want you fit and healthy for many more years.

The Road to 5,000: Notts County’s Historic Football League Journey
this is great @DangerousSausage, for younger fans this will be an eye opener in terms of the years of notts' history and historical landmark games. i am not bothered that this did not happen sooner, those 4 years in the national league have helped us to get to where we are now. hopefully, we can make a truly remarkable game for all the remember by bringing the points home.

Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Gills (A)
i think if john bostock is out, jim o brien can do the role but he might need to focus on being more defensive. that is what bostock does, he anchors the defence and allows them to get going without being bullied. whilst jimmy might not be intimidating, he can be good at picking up the ball. i think it should be a fairly good game, hopefully we fewer goals for the home team. that said they seem just as capable as us to score.

Luke Williams: Embracing Notts County’s Storied Past in the 5,000th EFL Match
its a remarkable achievement for notts, i know @DangerousSausage has been excited by the game as i remember him working out when the fixtures were released which game the 5000th match would be. i really hope that notts just forgets everything and goes to gillingham just wanting to win. otherwise i feel there is much pressure, with the league standings, current form and importance of the occasion. its really just a game, but one hopefully we can hold high in the record books. in luke williams, i trust.

Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Stags (H)
i am with @Chris, hes spot on with what he said. we just lack the fight and strengthen we usually have in midfield. defensively we made it harder on ourselves, but i thought connell rawlinson was the best defender on the pitch. richard brindley had a nightmare unfortunately. there was nothing that macaulay langstaff or david mcgoldrick could do, its just was out of their hand but they at least gave their all.

Mark Stallard on Notts County: ‘Cutting Out Individual Errors is Point Number One’
i think hes 100% correct, i appreciate and love hearing mark stallards comments. i think we just need to work harder in training in defensive situations and work more as a team. every needs to think about their positioning and if someone is marking, ensure that the space is limited. if it means making sure we get players back so be it, we cant keep conceding the amount of goals that we do.

Luke Williams on Notts County’s Performance against Colchester United: ‘Not Entirely Poor’
i dont think we need to change anything major, its mostly just focus and team work when defending. we just switch off or make too many wrong calls. aidan stone allowing the first was a major set back, things like that will lower the confidence and its how we respond. i think we had the fight, we attacked well and look good. but colchester knew if they scored, we would take a bit of time to come back with the level of intensity that we can. by which point, we would score and then so would they.

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
i think his composed interview after the game shows that this time round he's going to give the players a hug, and focus more on the fact we need to work harder in defence. i am confident we can improve in training but it is obvious we need a commander at the back. someone very much like mike edwards.

Notts County Almost Salvages a Point in Epic Clash with Colchester United!
disappointed but focused on Swindon, if we had played better we may have got something but defensively we need to be much better. proud of our attacking play, jodi jones scoring one of the best goals i have seen away from meadow lane. positives are their and we know the issue.

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
5-3, i just dont know what or why we are conceding these slopping goals. their player was not even marked, nobody pressed and i feel for aidan stone because any keeper would struggle with this lack of protection. @Piethagoram mentioned his concerns about the defence and i think hes right. i would say we can be good defensively, but without another strong centre back we may be prone to nodding off like this.

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
as i said in the facebook group. i think the performance so far is a mix of things, colchester are doing well to keep us quiet and their attacks look very good. they are quick to get into scoring positions. we look like a side that is taking to heart whatever was said after forest green game. kyle cameron is struggling, matt palmer looked like he needed to come off. the things that usually work for us have not today but bostock is on. i think that will make a difference.

Notts County vs Colchester United: A Pivotal Clash in League Two for the Magpies
yes, i agree with @Joshua. its not so straight forward and despite our league position and squad depth we cannot take anything for granted. i hope we can do whatever is needed to maintain our unbeaten run, yes winning keeps pressure on gillingham, swindon and other teams but we need to go into our next match with our heads high. we need to avoid any set backs, work hard to get the result needed.

Luke Williams Reveals Strategy for Upcoming Clash Against Colchester United
i hope for us all in attendance that we can start off brightly and be rewarded with a good result, colchester may up themselves or put their own good display in but we have to have faith in our own strength. it should be a good game and i think the score line will reflect that this is against two good teams. we will have to wait and see if notts can come out better, or if colchester will start to climb the league themselves.

'It’s Important to Be Confident': Sam Austin’s Take on Notts County’s League Two Challenges
hes been a bit quiet in some games but no doubt a very good team player, if its because hes playing in a role that he has not quite adapted to i dont know but he gives his all when he plays. its nice to see how players think, especially when they have setbacks in their career. sam austin still can go further if he continues to work hard, hes become a vital part of our squad.

'Long Way to Go’: Notts County’s Luke Williams Keeps His Eyes on the Prize
its a very sensible approach by our manager, luke williams knows we need to keep our feet on the ground and focus on each game as they come. its easy to become complacent but when you approach things like this, it keeps you working towards the long term goal. i think this season is just as incredible as our last campaign, such great work going on by the club and coaching team. luke williams is the king! ????

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
i know we said similar with forest green rovers, but colchester are a team in poor form and one that we ideally would win. obviously their position does not paint a full picture but it seems they struggle. it would be disappointing if we dont throw ourselves at them and try to secure a clean sheet, alongside a good performance. i dont see luke williams changing much. our form should help going into the game.
