Old Trafford is in serious need of repair. For years I've heard people mention that Old Trafford is run down and in need of serious money being chucked at it but being the big club that they are no one takes notice cause they're a big club and should have a decent backing. These clips say different, just shows how bad it is being run and there is no money being chucked at it. First it was a food hygiene rating of 1 star now they've got floods in stands and leaky roofs. Old Trafford is a landmark in English football, it was always a place for England to travel to and a place for FA Cup Semi Finals. Such a shame to see it in this state.

Came across this video earlier today explaining why Luke O'Nien was only given a yellow as opposed to a red for a deliberate handball. What does everyone make of the explanation or the situation? Should it have been a red card or was the yellow the correct decision? I find it a tricky one because of the explanation they give as to why it's a yellow by the law of the game and not exactly a clear chance. However, you have to imagine without the volleyball parry that the opposition player was gonna latch on to it and be in on goal. But also, a handball like that surely warrants a red card.

When the financial accounts of the 2023/24 season are published next year, it will probably show Stockport and Wrexham with the largest financial losses, that have allowed their clubs to have achieved promotion. @Dry Nelson Ray Mansfield will not be far behind

Ten wins in a row for Doncaster. 30 points in ten matches. Top of the form table They find themselves in fifth place and now have a playoff place in their own hands. They could easily go all the way in the playoffs and get promoted to league 1 the way they are playing. And another thing. Notts have the double over them too.

Macclesfield are just one game away from being promoted to National League North. Nice to see them on there way back after being reborn in 2020. If they get promoted it would be their third promotion in as many years. They play Marine AFC in the Playoff final on Monday.

Interesting development. Not sure whether it will be of any benefit to the game. VAR certainly hasn't.

Bromley play Solihull in the National League playoff today. Kick off 3pm. Two clubs who are hoping to get promoted to the football league for the first time. My tip is for Bromley to just squeeze over the line, but it would be nice to get another Midlands club like Solihull in the football league.

Congratulations to Ipswich who achieved back to back promotions after being promoted to the Premier League today. Just a reminder that Notts did the same thing between 1989 & 1991.

"KINGSTONIAN are facing extinction after being forced from their home by Chelsea". "The non-league side sold their Kingsmeadow ground to AFC Wimbledon in 2003 for a reported fee of £2.5 million". "The Dons played at the stadium for several years and won promotion back to the EFL before selling the ground to Chelsea in 2017". "Wimbledon had ground shared with Kingstonian during that period but Chelsea kicked The K's out of their home to allow their women's team to play there". "That forced Kingstonian to ground share with other non league clubs including Leatherhead, Corinthians, Tooting & Mitcham and Raynes Park Vale, where they currently play matc…

The L2 line-up for next season is almost complete, with two exceptions: One of Doncaster, Crewe, Crawley and the franchise will be departing to League One. If we're competing for promotion next season, I'd rather have the franchise out of the way; however, I'd much prefer them to be exiting the league in the other direction. Doncaster are the form team, but is also a good away day for us. From the Bananarama Conference, either Solihull or Bromley will be joining the Football League for the first time. Both have ex-Notts players on board (Myles Weston at Bromley, Joss Labadie at Solihull). Personally I'd prefer Solihull as we can bring the song back, and because …

I used to love watching live top grade English football on the TV. I also used to listen to commentary on Radio 5 live too. But now I don't have any inclination to watch or listen to matches in the modern Premier league at all. I just find it boring and predictable, with the same teams vying for the major trophies season after season. Can we really call it a Premier league when there are actually three leagues within it. There is the top six, the middle eight, & the bottom six. Of course we have some competitiveness within each of those leagues when those teams are playing each within those mini leagues. Unfortunately, there is such a massive …
