Looks like Torquay United are headed for administration. Surely we are not going to see another grand old league club poised to follow clubs like Bury, Macclesfield and Chester who have reappeared well down the league pyramid as phoenix clubs. Something has to be done to ensure this does not happen.

Apart from the National League, would you consider the Premier League to be the subsequent most challenging division in which to achieve success? I am not referring to the quality of play, but rather the difficulty in accomplishing objectives. Additionally, why do you believe that English managers are increasingly being disregarded for top-flight positions, particularly towards the higher end of the standings? For instance, Eddie, who many might have expected to struggle whilst adapting to a wealthier club like Newcastle United. Nonetheless, it is invigorating to observe his performance. When Newcastle United dismissed Steve Bruce, they might have opted for…

Bad news again for Football. More financial problems in our Football Pyramid. This week, Torquay United have signalled they may be heading into administration becoming the latest non-league club to face serious problems in recent months. We have a serious problem in our Football pyramid. There doesn't seem more than a few weeks go by when we hear about another club in trouble. What can be done,.Should the FA, Premier League and EFL get involved, or it is just inevitable that Clubs will be left to their fate? https://thefsa.org.uk/news/torquay-united-latest-non-league-club-in-trouble/

Is it time that the EFL introduced, Goal Line Technology for all games in the EFL? We continue to get contentious decisions where there has been disputes by players and fans on whether the ball has crossed the line or not. We have seen two examples in recent weeks, Mansfield v Notts and MK Dons v Wrexham where the ball seems to have crossed the line, but the Ref on both occasions thought different. It shouldn't be to hard to set up the technology at all grounds. It could prove very useful to Referees. I would welcome such a move by the EFL. Here's the example from the MK Dons match v Wrexham.

Mike Dean declined to use VAR to save 'mate' and fellow referee Anthony Taylor from 'grief' - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66612570 I find this shocking on the part of Mike Dean. I get that referees are subject to alot of abuse and grief but surely that comes with the territory of being a referee? The whole point of VAR is to catch anything the referee has missed on the pitch. The fact that Mike Dean spotted the incident but rather than telling his "mate" to go to the screen, he allowed the game to go on as though nothing happened to save him from grief. This is why VAR gets as much criticism as it does because the people behind it don't utilise i…

Do you ever find yourself keeping an eye out for ex-players to catch up on how they are doing? Do you have a favourite player that you follow more closely, who used to play for Notts such as Jack Grealish? Further, when they retire, do you make an effort to stay updated with their activities? Let's discuss...

Wishing him a happy retirement. I'm guessing it's for good this time. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66793441 And hoping that he gets back to do that gig at the Playhouse next year.

Now Notts are promoted into the league I must admit I will probably still keep an eye on the National League to see how our old rivals are faring, particularly Chesterfield, I used to work there and have a lot of friends who are Spirerite fans so I will be hoping they are promoted so we can renew our rivalry in the league but of course by then we’ll be in League One won’t we? Anyone interested in keeping tabs on National League?

The English Football League is going after Match Day Vloggers, in an effort to stop them from filming match coverage. This includes videos of a fan reacting without showing match footage, something I feel very disappointed about. So far there doesn't seem to be any consistency with who they go after at the moment. I am aware of several vloggers being issued bans - two of which I know from having started Football Manics. As most of you will know, we have our very own match day vloggers who have been doing it for years. @ARLukomski for example puts so much effort into his own video content, that it would be a shame to see the EFL issue bans to restrict him from pu…
