https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66778293 I find this a very baffling decision. The fact that the game was abandoned in the 96th minute with Buxton on the verge of a 2-1 win and they have to play the full 90 all over again. There'll be some proper kicking off if Scunthorpe go on to win the game and I wouldn't blame the fans or club for doing so if that'd be the case. Surely there was a better solution than this?

https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/23762906.ruben-rodrigues-people-questioned-oxford-united-move/ United reportedly beat Championship side Cardiff City, plus League One rivals Barnsley and Derby County, to his signature. He said: “A lot of people questioned my decision to come to Oxford. Of course, Notts County is a big team and I was loved and always going to play. “I wanted another challenge, I have never played league football before. I know [United] finished low last season, it was always going to be a question of how well we do this season. “I have no regrets since moment one. The players and staff have been brilliant with me and we are top of lea…

Good player. And a good (and necessary) signing for Spurs. But £45 million? I don't see that. This is not an anti-Forest post. I just don't get the economics of the top flight.

I was watching the EFL highlights last night and in the game between Rotherham and Blackburn, Rotherhams Onyedinma was given a second yellow for gesturing to the referee for a Blackburn player to be given a yellow. This is something that has irritated me for years when a player immediately goes up to a referee to try and get a player booked by gesturing a card with their hands. So it was great to see the referee hand out a yellow to a player doing just that. I believe it was Julian Dicks mentioned this particular thing on That Peter Crouch Podcast. He said he was involved in a game where a player tried to get another sent off by gesturing to the referee about …
