Who’s going to watch this one? I’ll be rooting for Sheffield Wednesday as I have a friend who’s a big Owls fan and I know how much it means to him to get back to the Championship. Come on you Owls.

As Torquay have found, trying to attract players can be difficult because of the geographical location.

Perhaps wishing Stockport to be promoted, just to prove promotion from the NL to EFL 1 can be done quickly.

I see they have managed to escape relegation from the Premiership, I was rather hoping they would go down, I’m not sure why I feel that way, jealousy probably. I do however applaud the way they kept faith with the manager and didn’t panic when things looked bad, I feel the fans played a big part of that decision, there is a lesson to be learnt by other clubs. How do others feel about our neighbours? Pleased for them? Hate them with a passion? Indifferent?

It kind of sticks in the craw to say it because I wish it could have been us, but I'd like to congratulate any Wrexham lurkers on winning promotion yesterday. Yes, they've spent a lot of money, but money alone doesn't buy you the kind of sheer determination, guts and consistency you need to get 110 points in a season. They've done a lot right. They've also been out of the Football League for far too long. Shame they didn't win the play-offs last season, but that's life. Here's hoping we can join them next season and settle a few scores!

I always get emotional on the anniversary of Hillsborough. I was 12 and I remember it like it was yesterday. Scenes like that were too much to process for a 12 year old. 97 victims. Countless lives destroyed. Grown men and women who still can't talk about or deal with what they witnessed that day. Today I would like to remember Tony Bland, Andy Devine, Sarah Hicks and Louise Hicks. Tony clung to life for 4 years before passing away in 1993. Andy survived against all the odds and died at the age of 55. The 97th victim. Sarah and Louise were sisters. 19 & 15. A life time of potential gone in a few tragic moments. I'm in Liverpool in June and the memorial will be m…
