  1. 62 likes? That's ridiculous. Luke Williams formed a highly esteemed team, and I observed numerous individuals advocating for most of the initial players. I commend him for affording them the opportunity. I am confident that both the FA Cup and League Cup will receive greater importance.
  2. Blaming Connell Rawlinson may seem easier, but there are multiple explanations for what truly went wrong, and no single comment can be fully accurate. It's all about idealistic thinking, based on different scenarios. While it's great for discussions, points can be shaped to fit one's own thoughts, similar to why I don't dwell too much on statistics since they can be interpreted in various ways.
  3. If they want to continue progressing, they need to bring in younger, faster, and more promising players. Signings like this, honestly speaking, won't take them anywhere.
  4. The Notts team put on a poor display, appearing to be very disorganised and possibly assembled hastily. There was little cohesion among the players, despite showing promise individually. However, the lack of teamwork resulted in Notts suffering. It seemed that Junior Morias, in particular, struggled as a lone striker. As mentioned before, he often went missing during the game, and one could be forgiven for thinking he had been substituted.
  5. Being a manager can be a challenging and demanding role, and it can have a significant impact on one's well-being. I believe that his decision to step down is purely personal and not influenced by the team's current position. Regardless, I wish Bish all the best in his future endeavours.
  6. We should express our gratitude for having Gareth Southgate as our coach. Once he leaves, we will likely regress to being an average team that can only hope to reach the semi-finals or knockout stages of major tournaments. Those who have constantly criticized him will soon realize how valuable he was. Sometimes, we fail to appreciate someone's worth until they are gone. This is evident with Germany, who are now experiencing difficulties due to their own costly errors. In all honesty, I'm not surprised by their current struggles.
  7. I read about this a few days back, on the BBC Sports page for Notts. Very saddening news, he's died way too young. It's awful.
  8. Jodi Jones is truly exceptional, and I'm pleased to see him perform well during Malta's recent match. It was beneficial for him to get a significant amount of playing time. In fact, I believe he is one of the most accomplished players we have seen in years. His skills and abilities make him stand out from the rest. It's exciting to have such a talented and versatile player representing our team.
  9. It's difficult for Morecambe, as where is the attraction in owning a team with very limited appeal within their local community? They will always be a League Two team that is punching above the Non-League. If the owner doesn't care, he won't be persuaded to pay the wages by having points docked. It just makes it harder for all involved.
  10. Jodi Jones may not publicly show that he cares, but privately, he will be happy with the achievement. He is not likely to worry or be bothered by it, but rather, he will be content that it has been counted in his name.
  11. Hello, @Sir Magpie and welcome. ????
  12. Macaulay Langstaff is by far the best natural finisher we have had in years. Some people have said he wouldn’t make the grade at League Two level, much like Kyle Wootton after he left us, but it took him time to hit it off for them. It would be the same for Langstaff, I thought when he hadn’t scored. He’s a far better striker than my comparison, with decent pace about him too. I hope this fuels him further and his confidence rockets, as it’s what we need. Well done, Macca. You’re doing great! Keep up the good work!
  13. Brilliant game by Notts! You could really see the synergy when Langstaff teamed up with Jones. That volley and header from Langstaff were pure class, and Jones really sealed the deal with his excellent finish. It was a proud moment to see them fight hard till the end. The late consolation goal by Doncaster didn't dampen spirits but highlighted our dominance on the field.
  14. Awful news indeed, rest in peace, Trevor Francis.
  15. Ryan Yates, Kelvin Wilson and Stephen McLaughlin.
  16. Matty Palmer's partnership with John Bostock is a force to be reckoned with. Their chemistry on the field is unstoppable.
  17. This surge in ticket sales definitely gives us a lot of hope for the upcoming season. An engaged and enthusiastic fan base not only boosts the morale of the team, but also leads to a better atmosphere at games. Exciting times ahead for sure.
  18. Firefox could do with being more competitive. If they can further improve their own engine and attract some browsers to adapt that, it might help. I’m a Chrome user, simply because it comes built into my Windows install and on my Android phone.
  19. I have about 10 England shirts. A few of them are away ones and they range from the 90s to 2022.
  20. Yes, more uniformed stripes look much nicer for sure. You don’t need loads of black lines. Look at the barcode shirt for example. I did like it, as it was different but my point is fewer can be nice. The sleeves play a big part in the design. As for the away shirt, whether it’s yellow, blue, white, green or purple I’m sure it will look nice.
  21. I hope he does well. He had a tough time at Notts and it’s surprising to see him leave Solihull Moors. I wish him all the best.
  22. He wasn’t up to much, but he did put in effort. Rochdale will be lucky if he finds the net once or twice.
  23. I don’t mind warm weather, but it does limit what I would do when it’s like today. A group of friends invited me out for drinks, but I cannot be bothered with that. I’ve been enjoying a movie marathon at home, with the windows open, fans on and snacks and ice cream at the ready.
  24. I’m not put off by what his former clubs’ fans say. Yes, it can be interesting, but it’s a fresh start. We have a feel-good factor. Support might bring the best out of him and we have a very good goalkeeper coach. It’s good to have another permanent option in goal. Tiernan Brooks may still get his chance, but Aidan Stone looks to be a handy backup.
  25. I can't wait to see Will Randall in action! I've heard great things about him and I believe he'll be a valuable player for our team.
