  2. I can't wait for the match later on! Notts County has been in amazing form this season. Despite Jodi Jones's absence, I'm confident we've got the depth to cover it.
  3. Bostock’s acknowledgement of the rehabilitation team’s support highlights the crucial behind-the-scenes work that aids players in returning stronger. His high regard for Notts County’s leadership and team spirit says a lot about the club’s atmosphere and goals. These character-driven insights make supporting this club a rewarding experience.
  4. The fans forum aptly showcases how deeply embedded the fans are at the heart of Notts County. Whether it's about ticketing intricacies or improvements on home ground, it's a relief knowing that everything is being addressed sincerely. Also, kudos to the team for not hesitating to address even the tough questions. This candidness is much appreciated.
  5. The match was stellar! Dan's first-half play is why some of us regard him as the stalwart of Notts County. His emphasis on introspection and improvement, not just celebration, speaks volumes to me. His attitude makes me optimistic about future games. Yes, there is room for improvement, particularly in the second half, and it's heartening to hear him acknowledge that. Keep going Notts!
  6. It’s genuinely good to see Williams facing up to the challenges that cropped up in the second half. This honest recognition is the very first step on the path to betterment. It shows a real commitment to being open and ready to change and grow. It’s a hopeful sign of Williams’ dedication to moving forward and a positive omen for what’s to come.
  7. Williams's candour in accepting the team's defensive dilemma provides a realistic view of what the team is up against. His belief in their capabilities is evident despite the setbacks, which is truly inspiring. It's refreshing to see that though the team is facing challenges, they are steadfast in their pursuit of better performance. As fans, it is this determination that we support, win or lose.
  8. Given Notts' consistent dominance in possession, it would be fascinating to see how Gillingham adjusts their strategy. Especially when this game bears immense significance for Notts County, I believe this test against Gillingham’s resilient squad, despite missing key players, would be extremely intriguing. Excited!
  9. Sam Austin is a true embodiment of what it means to be a part of Notts. He exemplifies the grit, resolve, and spirit of teamwork that are the hallmarks of our club. His never-say-die attitude is a testament to his character and a source of inspiration for all budding footballers. His triumphant return to League Two is a story of perseverance that resonates with everyone who dreams of playing football at this level.
  10. Powerful runs and decisive finishes are crucial when facing robust midfield teams. The ability to penetrate the defence with speed and precision can often be the difference between a win and a loss. A fast-paced game not only tests the physicality of the players but also their mental agility. It’s this combination of speed and strategy that can turn the tide in our favour. The anticipation for matchday is palpable, and the hope is that our team will rise to the occasion. The prospect of Macaulay Langstaff finding the back of the net certainly adds an exciting dimension to the game. His scoring prowess could provide the impetus we need to secure a victory. However, it’s equally important to remember that Notts boasts a squad with goalscoring potential across the board. This depth and diversity in attacking options could prove pivotal in a tightly contested match. It’s this collective strength that could ultimately see us emerge victorious on matchday.
  11. Hoping that Notts can extend their winning streak to six matches, it would be a significant accomplishment and would greatly enhance our position. We’re also relying on favourable outcomes in some of the other matches!
  12. Jodi Jones is proving to be a remarkable asset to both Notts County and his national team. His exceptional skills and consistent performance have been pivotal in many of both teams recent successes. Jones, has shown tremendous versatility and adaptability on the pitch. His ability to read the game, combined with his speed and agility, makes him a formidable opponent. He has a knack for being in the right place at the right time, often making decisive contributions that change the course of the match.
  13. If we create opportunities, I’m sure the game will be entertaining. So far, we’ve managed to avoid any disappointments from the officials. I don’t want to jinx it, but I hope we can secure a solid victory. Let’s hope for no unnecessary yellow cards and definitely no red cards for Notts.
  14. Hello, @Morten Johansen. Welcome to the community here on PON.
  15. Kyle's goal was class - a humble lad with such great talent. Notts County is lucky to have him. What a result!
  16. Resilience was the key takeaway from this match. Despite the early setback, the comeback from Notts County was tremendous. Crowley had an incredible match, a sublime example for the team to follow. Cameron's goal was well-deserved too.
  17. It was a well-played match, with both sides having opportunities but failing to capitalise on all of them. The game seemed destined for a draw, and it was unfortunate that the team did not continue to test the opposition’s defence in the second half after scoring. While MK Dons did engage in some unfair gamesmanship, the team still had control but lacked clear chances.
  18. Notts County demonstrated remarkable tenacity in their match against MK Dons, coming back from a deficit to earn a well-deserved draw. Kyle Cameron’s goal in the second half was especially noteworthy, as it not only equalised the game but also showcased his leadership skills and value to the team. The Magpies’ defence was also outstanding [bar their goal], making several key interceptions and vital saves. All in all, this was an excellent outcome for Notts County, and they will undoubtedly approach their next game with renewed optimism.
  19. I'm really happy to hear Luke acknowledge the fan support role in their journey. It's an incredible feeling to know that our cheering and support makes a difference.
  20. Appreciating Luton's success story paves the way for our own journey towards such incredible feats. The manager's comparison highlights the profound possibilities within our reach. Importantly, he understands the crucial blend of youth and experience in shaping a strong team. As we are in our first season back in League Two after four years, the anticipation is grand. It's not just about facing the pressure, it’s embracing it, and using it to further our cause. We are ready!
  21. I hope this game proves that Notts are now established as a League Two team. Accrington Stanley will be intense in their play and approach the game wanting to get the win. I don’t foresee them sitting back. They should get stuck in and I am looking forward to another Saturday at Meadow Lane. It should be a very good game, I agree.
  22. Rawlinson encapsulates this essence with his decisive goal, his commendation of the coaching staff, and his nod to the fans. This match underscored the mettle of Notts County, their grit and determination to make it through challenging matches, one game at a time.
  23. Massively impressed with Bostock. Incredible game management.
  24. Expecting a thrilling game. Notts County's victory over Doncaster Rovers was impressive, especially given their initial loss to Sutton United. Here’s wishing they keep up that momentum.
  25. Brindley is reinforcing the sense of determination and unity within the team, which is vital for Notts County's success in League Two. Although the change in style from the National League may be challenging, players like Brindley are showing that they can adapt and excel. His positivity regarding his new role in the back three and his commitment to play any position in order to ensure a win for the team is truly commendable. His attitude is precisely the kind that we need in the squad, especially as we strive to make our mark in League Two.
