  1. I'm willing to give Morias some time to settle in and prove his worth. It's difficult when you come into a team with established players, but I hope he can still make an impact.
  2. It's a magnificent gesture, it's not just about the game, but about unity and community.
  3. I echo @Chris's sentiments entirely. A club's strength isn't just about its performance on the field. It is the fans and their support that truly make a club. We've had our ups and downs, but the fact that the people of Notts are sticking together through thick and thin is heartening to see. It reflects on the sense of community that we've built together.
  4. Comparing Matty Palmer to Don Masson is high praise, indeed. Shows the impact he's had on the team.
  5. From what I have read, he seems like a good signing. People who have played for him say he is very attack-focused, which seems to be a good fit for what we needed.
  6. Kairo Mitchell didn’t work out for us, but he may do well at Rochdale. I don’t think he’s a striker myself, and it’s disappointing that we paid a fee for him. He may do better at his new club.
  7. Welcome to PON, @NottsCountyKev.
  8. I would like a younger, faster Connell Rawlinson. Someone who isn’t afraid to get hurt or defend by putting their body on the line.
  9. It’s a strange departure, one I didn’t expect to see and I wish Neal Ardley all the best. If he’s taking time away from management, fair enough. If he’s moving to a new club, I would feel sorry for Solihull Moors who may have got some compensation for it.
  10. I also use Chrome because it’s the standard for every device it seems. I don’t bother messing around - if I can use it, it will do.
  11. Fixtures are a standard thing for some fans to complain about, but real supporters will just get on with the season. I suppose it depends on the level of complaint - some may be valid and fall outside of what I am referring to. However, those that come across as nit picky are what I am writing about.
  12. I wouldn’t mind a throwback to our 2017/18 season away kit, with that lovely patterned blue shirt. That one really stood out to me and I absolutely loved it.
  13. Dan Crowley received my vote; I’m hopeful he will be as enjoyable to watch as Ruben Rodrigues was, if not more so.
  14. He sounds like a young up-and-coming keeper who could do well here. It’s a position that will only do well with what’s in front of him and I think as a free transfer we can’t worry if he doesn’t turn out to be any good. We know Tiernan Brooks can step up, so it benefits everyone.
  15. Hello and welcome to you, @NottsLoyal. Good on you for getting involved, I hope you enjoy PON.
  16. Welcome to Notts County, Aidan Stone! I hope you settle in quickly and showcase your abilities on the pitch. We're excited to have you as part of our team.
  17. I can imagine him still being the first person into the club for training and wanting to put in overtime that some younger professionals neglect to think about. He’s a steady player who has worked well and continues to impress. I see no reason why he won’t have a successful season for us. Age is but a number and Jim O’Brien seems superhuman at times. Does anyone remember that nasty gash on his leg? He just got up and walked off like it was just a little bruise.
  18. Players come and go; provided they leave behind some form of legacy and memory, they will have contributed to the club. It’s a shame in one way that we didn’t get promoted sooner, as he may have stuck around, but who knows for sure? The moment we went up could have been the moment he left. I wonder if he would have still decided to leave had Notts not won the playoffs?
  19. Good; Jim getting a one-year deal is the very least we could offer. He’s a true hero of Notts and has done nothing but good things.
  20. Oxford United should be a good fit for Ruben Rodrigues. It’s interesting that Jodi Jones has come this way and Ruben their way. I think with Jodi’s age, we have the better deal, but I would have liked to see him a bit longer.
  21. If nutmegs were the goal, he would be a top-class player! I wonder how successful he could be in street football, where showing off your skills is more important than scoring goals.
  22. Yes, I think moving to Gateshead is a good decision for Ed Francis. I wish him all the best on his journey and hope that one day he will reach his full potential and we can say that he achieved everything we thought he was capable of.
  23. Hello @MagpieLane, welcome to PON. I hope you drop by when you get chance.
  24. Hello @Bigrossco1862, welcome to PON.
  25. It’s great to see Jodi getting recognition on the international stage. He’s been a key player for us this season.
