  1. Voting for Pride of Nottingham's Member of the Year is certainly a difficult task, as there are so many dedicated and deserving members who have contributed to making the site what it is. However, it's important to remember that even those who don't have a vote still deserve recognition and praise for their efforts in supporting and engaging with the community. I'd like to take this opportunity to give a special mention to @Chris, who has worked tirelessly to keep the site running smoothly and to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. Without his hard work and dedication, we wouldn't have this fantastic platform to connect with other Notts County fans and share our love for the club. Thank you, Chris!
  2. I am happy for the boys Cedwyn Scott, Jim O’Brien, Ruben Rodrigues and Matt Palmer did a fine job in the game. The response to the setback showed real character and determination. To go from 3-0 to 3-2, under a heavy surge from Maidstone who was trying to turn the game on its head, that takes guts. And to come out on top with a 5-2 win, well that will give confidence and show that we can react to blips in games. A job well done, I say.
  3. I must say, this must fuel the players to get the job done and get Notts promoted. Those players who have experienced us reaching the final and semi-final, they need to go that extra mile to get us back to the Football League. It takes hard work and determination, but I have faith in our boys. They have what it takes to get us back where we belong.
  4. Well, I must say, it was a good result against Maidstone. To win 5-2 after they managed to pull back two goals and make the score 3-2, that shows a good reaction by the players. It takes character and determination to bounce back like that and it’s a testament to the strength of the team. A job well done, I say.
  5. Well, I must say, that Ryan Reynolds must have been brought up right. He must have come from a loving family that taught him to be kind and considerate. It’s very positive to see that Notts has earned his praise, but for him to mention it outright when the focus is on Wrexham, well that’s beyond class. It’s something else entirely. It just goes to show that good upbringing and strong values can make all the difference in the world.
  6. Having a player like Macaulay Langstaff is simply marvellous, and it's a rare treat for young fans to see a first-class striker donning Notts colours. I believe the club must seize the opportunity while it's hot because retaining players like him is a challenge. However, persuading them to progress together, score goals, and make history can be enough to entice a player to stay a little longer. Langstaff has plenty more to offer Notts, and while joining a Championship or League One team might be enticing, it must be the right decision for him.
  7. I believe that Luke Williams comprehends that players must occasionally react to severe language, and if it brings out the best in them, it demonstrates his wisdom. I trust it proves effective!
  8. Welcome to the community, PON is a very good site and most Notts fans here are very openminded when it comes to supporters of other clubs @Dry Nelson Ray.
  9. Excellent feature @Simon Clark, very fair and to the point. ????????
  10. The current season has been truly remarkable. It never crossed my mind that Notts would have another opportunity to reach the top of the league following the defeat against Dagenham & Redbridge. It's a testament to just how outstanding this season has been, don't you think? The execution of each goal was exceptional. I concur with the sentiments expressed by others before me that we could have easily scored three goals before half time and many more opportunities throughout the match. I couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards Wealdstone. I don't believe they would have been as clumsy or played as poorly against other typical teams. It's just a reflection of the high level of proficiency among the teams in this league. However, given their current position, it's clear that the club is doing something right, and I must commend their goalkeeper for an excellent performance.
  11. I thought Notts would win, but I didn't expect them to take over the top spot in the league, with Halifax securing a victory over Wrexham.
  12. Wonderful to see, Notts are finally improving not just on the pitch but off it.
  13. Looks to be the real deal, strong and pacey. I like the sound of the signing.
  14. There's a long way to go despite the good news regarding the vaccine. I still think it will be around for another year or more.
  15. Notts are growing in confidence every time someone scores, yesterday they could have gotten 5 or more but looked like they wanted to reserve their energy. First half wasn't the most entertaining but the second ended being very enjoyable. A clean sheet, I just hope they don't postpone the league for too long.
  16. Pleasant game, good performance by Notts. They gave us a lot of space in midfield but credit to them for not giving up.
  17. The UK should handle the situation well, it's the other nations where I worry it could get out of hand. More do die from a common cold but this is a horrible illness for those that get it.
  18. Hartlepool is a good away day. Not the best ground to visit but I think this squad should do just fine there. They like to play their football on the floor, so this should suite us also.
  19. Poor display in the second half, I thought Woking was going to go on and win the game by a landslide until Notts started to gain confidence. How the players broke can be exciting but very few get into the space, they run directly where the opposition is.
  20. These are the games that really matter now, drawing can rescue a point but Notts needs to try and maintain the winning form more than picking up the odd one. Avoid defeat at all costs.
  21. I missed the game due to having other arrangements, I think it shows that the squad can do well with the right approach to a game. The mentality leading in plays a vital role in what happens on the pitch. It sounds like Jim O'Brien did well as the captain.
  22. I can see the game ending goalless myself, its going to be an ugly game unless Notts or Chesterfield decide to work hard enough. I just can see both teams sitting back too much.
  23. Some nice words expressed, such a sad loss. Rest in Peace Mick.
  24. I think whilst Kyle Wootton is scoring and in form, we stand a chance of winning. I worry more about what happens if he has a dry patch, the service to him and whoever starts up front needs to better.

I hope you all have your voting done or will be, the shape of UK politics needs to change and quickly.
