Where are they now : Paul Hart
I thought he had retired. Didn't he come out of retirement the last time he was at Notts? I thought he had been retired for a few years now. I know football can be addictive, but retirement is something to enjoy. I hope he manages to be productive in his retirement.

Transfer Deadline Day
We can't afford to lose anyone, with Aidan Stone working hard in training and not seeming to be going anywhere. I think Notts will see him as the backup goalkeeper. I think realistically we might see another player come in on loan, ideally a striker. As for players leaving, we can't afford to lose anyone who isn't on the transfer list. Dan Crowley and Jodi Jones are match winners, we need their quality.

George Abbott Excited for New Chapter at Notts County: "It's a Good Opportunity" Says Tottenham Hotspur's Young Midfielder
George Abbott’s arrival at Notts brings a lot of excitement and promise. Coming from a club like Tottenham, he brings a wealth of training and experience that could prove invaluable. It’s great to see his eagerness to dive into the League Two environment and his keen interest in playing in front of our amazing supporters. His remarks on the club's style of play and his compatibility with it give me hope that he’ll fit right in. Also, his desire to make an impact while aiming for a spot on the England Under-20 squad speaks to his ambition.

Tottenham Hotspur’s U21 Captain George Abbott Joins Notts County on Loan
Welcome to Notts County, George Abbott! Reading about your journey from Tottenham's Under 8s to the Under 21 captain is truly inspiring. It shows how dedicated and hardworking you are. I’m particularly excited about your versatility on the field, being able to play in different positions. Your experience in high-profile matches and leading teams to victories at such a young age speaks volumes about your potential. I’m sure you’ll bring a fresh and dynamic approach to our squad. Best of luck!

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The Robins (A)
We don't need to change our playing style much. Stuart Maynard will probably keep the team the same. Everyone who played against Grimsby Town is healthy, so I expect the team to stay mostly the same. Jatta is a player that Swindon fans like. Let's hope he can score for us.

Welcome To Notts George Abbott
He seems like an interesting signing. I hope he's more like Jack Grealish or Callum McGregor than our other signings. Many Spurs fans like him, which is nice. But I don't know if many of them have seen him play a lot. I hope he can show his skills and help us.

Something for Fan of Big Tone
Tony Hateley will always be remembered for his goalscoring ability. He was a complete forward in the old-fashioned sense. His second time at Notts felt like a great homecoming. I wasn't there for his first time, but I've heard many stories from my family about how good he was with his feet and head.

Nottm Forest Women v Notts County Women
Bad luck to the women's team. You can't complain about the final result. I'm sure they did their best. The Forest women's team has a lot of money

Yeovil merchandise misspelling
It's funny to see "Yeovl Town" spelled wrong. They used to be in the Championship. I'm surprised they spelled "official" and "merchandise" correctly.

Stuart Maynard discusses transfers, squad depth, and Notts County's upcoming clash with Swindon Town in League Two
It's great that Notts has turned down the offers for our players. I wasn't too worried because it would be crazy to sell Dan Crowley or Jodi Jones now. They're working hard to bring in new players, but it's been tough. Selling either or both wouldn't make it easier. So, I'm really happy about that. Lewis Macari has been playing very well. People might talk about him more because of his grandfather, but he deserves our praise. He looks like a good player.

Did You Know? (Football Related)
@Fan of Big Tone It was a failed attempt at humour. I also forgot that it was actually Paul Whitehouse who does a spot-on impression of Michael Caine.

MAGnets link - Swindon Town
Drissa Traoré played for Notts in 2014-15, before signing for Swindon Town when his time at Meadow Lane ended.

Lou Macari at Notts last Thursday
It’s great to see Lou Macari come to Nottingham and watch his grandson. I bet Louis Macari is always happy to be watched. Following in his grandfather’s footsteps is special. Of all the players we’ve had, Louis looks like he could go quite far.

Sharing the Love for Notts
Families are often what get you into a club. Notts might not have been trendy when I was a boy, but I felt instantly connected to them as soon as I started going to games. The shirts from the late 70s and 80s were special. The shorts wouldn’t be acceptable now, but they were stylish back then. The players were iconic to a young person.

Did You Know? (Football Related)
Yes, I know that. Squads were much smaller back then, so there was no need for substitutes. Players usually played in multiple positions. I’ve been told all of this over the years. @Fan of Big Tone I thought that was Harry Enfield.

August Player of the Month: Pride of Nottingham
I think Dan Crowley has been excellent, so he’ll get my vote. However, it’s not as easy as the poll appears. Crowley has been the driving force behind our progress, so I hope he continues this form into next month.

Transfer Rumours : Cedwyn Scott
I take things like this with a pinch of salt. I’d be surprised if Cedwyn Scott left this season. I think he still has a lot to prove. He’s a good player, but he needs to improve his form.

Opposition View: Swindon Town Fan Lee Witts' Honest Analysis Ahead of Notts County Match
It should be a good game. Swindon have some excellent players, but it’s a good chance for Notts to move up the league. Early form is important, and Swindon will be difficult opposition. However, we have momentum right now and should continue from the Grimsby Town performance.

RIP Sven
I hope he knew how much he meant to us Notts fans and the club. It's a shame we didn't invite him back. It would have been great to thank him. His arrival felt like when Tommy Lawton signed for Notts County. He left in a respectful way. Rest in peace, Sven.

Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, it's wonderful to be welcoming you to the community.

Welcome to Notts, Lucas Ness
@DangerousSausage I heard Lucas Ness is so elusive on the pitch that he could actually be the Loch Ness Monster in disguise. But I’d take that with a pinch of salt as nobody has ever been able to spot him either!

Sven-Göran Eriksson: A Legacy Remembered at Notts County
Where do I start to pay my respects to Sven-Göran Eriksson? His arrival was like Tommy Lawton coming to Meadow Lane in the 20th century. It caused a lot of excitement, with the media attention and the hope it gave our fans. It's sad that a con artist tricked him and our club. That single season was magical. The football and quality Notts showed on the pitch were amazing. We should remember Sven as the Director of Football. He embraced our club. His passing is very sad news. He was a brave person who helped many clubs. I hope Notts stands united with all those clubs.

Alassana Jatta: In The Goals.
He’s an integral part of the team, but this doesn’t mean we don’t need one more option upfront. I would give Cedwyn Scott a chance, allowing a different midfielder to play further up, maybe Curtis Edwards, or the club could bring someone in. Scott has goals in him if we play him in the right place. Yet, Alassana Jata has proven his worth with his early impact last season and his very good start to this campaign.
