Both teams are missing a lot of quality. I think whoever takes Jodi Jones’ place has a chance to show why they should be in the squad. A good performance from them could lift Notts, but I think the game is going to be very difficult. Both MK Dons and our midfield will be testing each other. There’s quality in both sides and I just hope we don’t buckle under the pressure.

I must remember to arrive at the ground early to avoid the crowds. While I love watching live televised games, the sheer number of people can be overwhelming at times.

The picture they used to announce the manager’s departure was far from flattering, and the accompanying tweet seemed somewhat irked. It wasn’t the most professional way to handle such a significant announcement.

Dan Crowley’s partnership with Jodi Jones and Aaron Nemane is a testament to the strong bonds that exist within the squad. The players have developed a deep understanding of each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and this is evident in their performances on the pitch. It’s fantastic to see Luke Williams being recognised as the Manager of the Month. This is a significant accolade for him and the team, acknowledging the immense effort required to achieve success. Williams’ pragmatic reflection on being at the top of the league demonstrates his level-headed approach; he’s not one to rest on his laurels. Complacency can easily creep in, especially given our team’s strength and competitive edge. However, the season is lengthy and it’s likely we’ll face some challenges along the way. Williams is acutely aware of this reality and continues to make judicious decisions.

Macaulay Langstaff put in an outstanding performance against Accrington Stanley, scoring two goals and contributing significantly to the team’s success. He could have easily scored more than just a brace, such was his dominance throughout the game. His first goal was a thing of beauty, and it was a joy to see it find the back of the net. With his second goal, there was never any doubt that he would convert the chance. Langstaff is undoubtedly a talented player, and we are incredibly proud to have him representing our club.

Winning at home always creates a positive atmosphere, but when you are at the top of the league and performing well, it’s crucial to maintain that form when travelling to away games. Notts County have done an excellent job of making Meadow Lane feel more inclusive on match days. Everything about this season seems to be better, from the improved PA system to the overall matchday experience. However, it’s the fans in the stands who are making the biggest difference, providing support for their team.

It’s going to be interesting to see how we prepare and line up against MK Dons, even with players out. I am aware of their quality, and you don’t reach second place this early without it. Likewise, with Notts, it’s not luck that we are at the top of the table. This and our winning streak need to be protected. I think Notts will be a bit more defensive, but not at the cost of attacking. I just feel that Luke Williams will set Notts up to be patient at the back, with our strong midfield putting in a shift in both areas.

I was going to name something else, but listening to @liampie's choice, I had to put this: it’s like Christmas with Notts and I don’t want it to end! Complain that it’s only the 9th month of the year, but it’s here and hopefully will be until the end of the season.

It’s a good signing, but it’s a weird situation with Fleetwood and their owner sacking Scott Brown. You would have thought this signing could make a strong impact, without the need to part ways with the manager.

I don’t even remember him, but I agree, it can’t be as serious with him never actually getting a minute of action.

I don’t know much about Blackpool’s issues or their chairman, but it reminds me of when our own fans wanted Ray Trew to spend silly money to get out of League One. Only for him to later say he won’t put any more investment into the club. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Blackpool and its fans need to meet in the middle.

Fleetwood is an odd club, sacking a manager and bringing in a striker that could make all the difference. It’s a weird choice of actions, but they now need to make a sensible appointment and bring in someone who can keep them up as a League One team.

As for Ian Burchnall at Wolves, I would assume it was due to his paperwork. He’s quite lucky that he’s been snapped up and hasn’t found himself out of employment for long.

I think we just need to focus on playing positive, forward-passing football against MK Dons. There will be times when we do need to go back, but we should avoid going all the way back where possible. I think they would punish us if we got caught napping while passing the ball to Aiden Stone. They are one of those teams who thrive on teams that make slip-ups or mistakes, so I hope we make it as hard as possible. The likely outcome of a draw stands out to me. I think we will cancel each other out. A win would be nice, but I just don’t see it myself. Both us and them know what to do to keep the score to a minimum and both enjoy having possession of the ball.

Aden Baldwin is another current player who played for them before joining us.

Macaulay Langstaff never stops running, not only to get onto chases but also against defenders and the opposition keeper. He’s more than a warrior; he’s just relentless with his pressing. It’s similar to Cedwyn Scott, which is why I think they both work so well together. I am pleased for Langstaff to have the spotlight on him. He’s showing that there are goals for him in League Two, and against Accrington Stanley, I thought he looked fantastic on goal.

Notts may have been slow, but the statistics could have been from the beginning of the season. I’m not sure. I don’t believe we are slow at the moment because things have settled down. I don’t pay attention to things like this, as comparing us in this manner seems strange.

I am pleased we at least made a signing. I think it’s more of an addition to cover for the congested fixtures and potential backup. It would be good to see him come in when needed, and hopefully, he will do a good job. Otherwise, if he’s stuck on the bench, he might get recalled if that option is available.

I agree again with @Elite_pie; it’s hard to rate the players when we are performing well, as the ability to score them differently becomes lower, and that’s why more people will be inclined to agree. I do think John Bostock played a vital role in midfield.
