The club should treat the iFollow service for overseas fans as if it were their season ticket. Finding ways to generate more sales would be beneficial, as the service is good value.

The interview is a good one again. I think he decided just to rest Macaulay Langstaff. I think the fatigue comment simply means he's not quite match-ready, and he's decided to protect him. I fully expect him to be in the squad against Sutton; I would be surprised if he's not.

I am glad you got your tickets, @Ohh Tommy Johnson. I got mine, as well as tickets for @liampie and @TheSkipper when they first went on sale. Thankfully, we are not standing.

It’s good that Luke Williams is ready for League Two. We played well against teams in the National League, and we were above most of their level. Were all the performances great last season? No, but we got the much-needed results. Winning and playing well is great, but the points are what we need. Let’s get off to a flying start and work harder than we have. We’ll be right behind the lads; they can do us proud again.

The squad is very settled right now. We managed to retain most of the players and added depth in the areas required. So, with the new faces, we are going to need to adapt a little, and pre-season was all about that. Replacing Ruben Rodrigues isn’t easy; it’s one of those areas where we need to dig deeper, but David McGoldrick has done superbly since signing, and his goal against Alfreton has sparked him to take more chances. I understand the mixed feelings, but I don’t think there are any major concerns.

We might take a bit of time to hit things off, but I don’t think we’ll be anywhere near the bottom. And if this is not the case, I don’t think it will be through a lack of effort. The important thing is to get good wins early on, keep clean sheets, and enjoy the play. It’s a good read.

The draw doesn’t bother me, nor does the performance as such. I think both teams would probably agree that the draw was fair, considering the 90 minutes overall. I thought Notts looked sharp getting forward but could just do with taking a bit more time with the finishing. On to Sutton away, which I think will be a different story.

Loan them both out, get them some league experience and around other senior players. The issue with the B team for me is that it will lack the competitive nature that a league system offers with players of all ages. The quality of them might differ, but a good player can learn from anyone.

Yesterday, I didn’t do much of anything. Today, I went to see the final pre-season game with @liampie, and tomorrow I’m back to doing nothing. ????

Liverpool seems to be tapping up young talent. I wish it were harder for clubs to sign youngsters, as sometimes the change in environment doesn’t help their progression. I hope the lad manages to do well enough to establish his future. Good luck to him.

Once last season ended, I couldn’t wait for this campaign to begin. Now that all the pre-season friendlies are over, it’s just a week away, and it’s all I’ve been thinking about.

I will be taking part in the Prediction League. I missed playing it, so I will make sure to get involved.

It’s a private jet, isn’t it? Does anyone know for sure what the fuel emissions are? The tabloids are digging deep into this. Yes, it’s excessive, but without all the facts, I can’t really comment. I have seen Notts fans on Twitter talking about it, which makes me laugh because I wonder how eco-friendly they are. Hopefully, the plane is low in carbon and uses sustainable aviation fuels. If this is the case, fair play. If not, maybe it should.

I am delighted that we have signed a centre-back. Ollie Tipton looks like a good addition to the squad, even if it is on loan. With him being versatile, I think it might see us sign more players. I would be happy with the squad as it is. He seems to have a good pedigree and attitude.

I think he left us feeling a bit bitter and took the chance we gave him for granted, by not leading by the example that he had spoken about all season. He said he came to us to gain promotion and be part of a long-term building process, yet he left after having a decent enough season, running off to the first club that needed a manager two divisions higher than us. It just makes me feel disappointed. Notts was basically just a stepping stone, and most good managers could have gotten us to the finish he did. I just don’t understand those who love Burchnall but hate Neal Ardley. That’s why I personally don’t care about his career. He also comes across as a bit self-important, which I do not like.

I wish Jack Bearne all the best at Greenock. I thought his signing to Liverpool delivered big promises, but there’s no reason why he can’t use his time with us and Liverpool to further his career. I hope this is just the start for him.

It’s great news that Cal Roberts hasn’t suffered a break. Hopefully, this means he can make a swift recovery and, in time, come back to being his best. He’s the type of person who will keep fighting.

He has said all the things you would want to hear from a loan signing: he is here to prove himself, to be part of the team, and to help bring success. The talk of something special is something that many optimistic fans can feel about the season. Having a young defender come in makes perfect sense to me. It is not a loan signing for the sake of it, but rather an addition of quality, which is nice to see.

The game was very good. Notts played in such a way that they struggled, and credit to Alfreton, they acknowledged how good of a team we were. I don’t think they had much chance to get going because we wanted the ball so much. It’s difficult to defend, and what made it worse for Alfreton is that we fielded such a strong squad with the intention of giving them longer in the game.

I’m not listening to anything yet. Do you have any suggestions? One thing I want to do is listen to old albums in-depth.
